CHAPTER 1

LAOBANG'S POV
We are currently heading to the fancy restaurant where we'll be celebrating our graduation. We both did a big effort studying so at least we deserve this before starting our new adventure.

-Nayeon: I thought we would start looking for the book immediately, but I guess that we can't really reject your father's offer...
-Lao: We'll be able to focus better once we fill our tummy with delicious food. Plus, we deserve something for the effort we did... (smiles) Today won't happen anything. I can't forget about you as long as I have you by my side, right? (chuckles)

-Nayeon: I just hope you are right... (smiles) You know that I always trust you, so if you say that today is time to celebrate, then we must celebrate (hugs you) But please, never ever forget about me, okay?
-Lao: I won't (smiles)
-Nayeon: You promise? (pouts)
-Lao: Of course, Nabongs (kisses her forehead) Now let's get inside... My family is probably wondering where the heck are we...
-Nayeon: Maybe they are thinking that we are celebrating on our own (smirks)
-Lao: They are not (emotionless)
-Nayeon: Ugh (hugs herself) I'm shivering, that was so cold from you...
-Lao: (laughs) It's so nice to have my goofy girlfriend back.
-Nayeon: Yah... (clings on your arm)

We spent the rest of the night along my family, and then headed to a hotel because we can't stay in the students flats anymore. I always wanted to buy a house and live happily with my girlfriend like everyone else.

But I guess that we are not like the rest. Probably, I won't have my own house until we solve the book problem, and who knows how much will it take us?

-Nayeon: Ah... I ate too much tonight... Why didn't you control me?
-Lao: I tried to stop you and you kept asking for more (chuckles)
-Nayeon: Ah, right (giggles) But, it was really fun... It has been some years since we last reunited like a family.
-Lao: Yeah... (smiles and starts changing into your pyjama)
-Nayeon: (lays in the bed) Time flies, and we've become adults, Lao.
-Lao: Yeah, a lot of things have changed since the first time that we met (smiles)

-Nayeon: You were a kid trying to return home... (smiles) You defeated all the villains when you were really young. How cute and brave...
-Lao: And you were a spoiled princess back then, you always were greedy when it came to me. You were so adorable... (giggles)
-Nayeon: I just liked you so much back then, you have no idea of how deep in love I was. It hurted me just thinking that you would reject me...
-Lao: Well, I fell so deep in love with you too (smiles) We were too young...
-Nayeon: Actually, it just happened around five years since then... But now we have matured. We are man and a woman... (smiles) It worries me if we'll be able to face everything how we used to.
-Lao: We will, we'll overcome whatever that gets in our way (smiles)
-Nayeon: (hugs you) Do you think that they grew up too? Did they become adults as well?
-Lao: Who knows? (srughs)
-Nayeon: I can't wait to find the book... (pecks your cheek)
-Lao: Me neither (smiles and lays next to her) Tomorrow our adventure starts, so let's rest well today.
-Nayeon: Yeah, goodnight honey (pecks your lips and smiles afterwards)
-Lao: (also smiling) Goodnight.

We both fell asleep really soon, but some hours later, when it was still too early to wake up, I received another message.

"Wise decision. But don't be lazy, time past by faster than what you think"

This messages from an unknown number are starting to creep me out. Its so scary, what should I do? Should I wake up Nayeon and start already? We have not trace...

-Nayeon: Laobang? What are you doing? (yawns)
-Lao: Nothing... Just... Uh, should we start already?
-Nayeon: What are you saying? It's too early, not a single store opened... (makes you lay) Sleep some more, okay?

-Lao: (gets out of bed)
-Nayeon: What are you doing?
-Lao: I have to go somewhere... (starts getting dressed)
-Nayeon: Huh?! Where?
-Lao: There's a place that never closes... So, sleep some more (smiles) I'll be back for you when sun rises, okay?
-Nayeon: You are always so stubborn, do as you want... (keeps on sleeping)

How moody can she be when she's sleepy, but even like this I think that she's pretty. I guess that this is love. God, its insane... I need to leave now.

I leave the hotel where we are staying and head to the police station. Its the first thing that came to my mind, the only clue we have are the mysterious messages. So, I'll ask them to look for the person who sent it and discover his identity.

-Once in the police station-

I enter the police station where they all look at me weirdly. What? Is it really that weird to visit this place at 4:00 am?

-Officer: How may I help you?
-Lao: I need you to help me with some mysterious messages that are arriving to me. I would like to know who's sending them.
-Officer: It's 4:00 am...
-Lao: I know.
-Officer: You should be sleeping instead of coming here for such a stupid problem. Just block the person writing you.
-Lao: I can't do that! I need to know who's the person sending them because it concerns me... Please, could you help me?
-Officer: Fine (rolls his eyes) Leave your phone here and pick it up this afternoon, okay?
-Lao: Thank you so much! (smiles)

This has been actually faster than what I thought that it would be. However, much better for us, now I'll be able to sleep some more and hopefully, this afternoon will have the first clue.

I need to help Nayeon, the fact that she's in my world is my fault after all. So it's my job to make sure that she feels comfortable and happy. We will find the book, it's a must.
