Chapter 5: The Enchiridion

Y/N, Fionna, and Jake were currently at the Candy Kingdom which was currently having a party.

Fionna and Jake were dancing along with the kingdom's candy citizens.

Fionna: Candy party!

She cheered.

Fionna: Jake, this party is so crazy!

She told him as she continued dancing.

Jake: I know, Fionna. I know.

He replied as he also continued dancing before he let out a laugh.

They both then looked over at Y/N, who wasn't dancing and was instead standing still and looking at the ground in sadness.

Fionna and Jake looked at him in concern before Jake stopped dancing and walked over to him.

Jake: Hey, Y/N. You okay, buddy?

He asked in concern.

Y/N: No.

He replied.

Jake: ... Is it about Tree Trunks?

He questioned.

Before he could answer, two small gumdrop girls walked over to them.

Pink Gumdrop Girl: So, Y/N, do you have a girlfriend?

She asked him.

Blue Gumdrop Girl: Oh, my gosh, I can't believe you just said that!

She said as she gently shoved her friend in embarrassment.

Two small candy citizens were running circles around a living punch bowl while it laughed and danced.

Punch Bowl: What a wonderful, marvelous party!

He said as he continued to dance.

Elsewhere a giant cinnamon bun was talking to himself.

Cinnamon Bun: Okay, I'm gonna do it. Okay, okay, okay.

He told himself.

Cinnamon Bun: Everyone watch! I'm gonna do a flip!

He announced before he attempted to do a backflip, but failed, resulting in him falling backwards and hitting the back of his head on a candy tower.

Cinnamon Bun: Oh, no!

He said in sadness while everyone laughed at him, but they failed to notice the large crack that was now quickly traveling up the tower.

At the top of the tower was Princess Bubblegum, who was dancing with her eyes closed on a balcony.

The crack then reached the top of the tower and quickly spread, making the top fall apart and Princess Bubblegum scream in fear.

The balcony she was standing on fell off and she with it as she continued to scream.

Y/N heard her screams and quickly turned to her as she continued to fall.

Y/N: Bubblegum!

He yelled before he quickly ran forward and past the crowd, accidentally elbowing a candy citizen in the face as he did so.

Male Candy Citizen 1: Watch where you're going!

He yelled angrily.

Y/N continued to run towards the tower before quickly diving forward and catching Princess Bubblegum before she hit the ground.

Male Candy Citizen 2: Holy cow!

He said in surprise.

Male Candy Citizen 3: Is the Princess okay?
