Epilogue

(A/N: Hello! This is basically a background chapter of who Y/N is and how they are. I apologize for any grammar or typos mistakes I make. I hope you enjoy!!)
2nd Person P.O.V
You grew up in Gongaga which was the country side of Midgar. You had a pretty simple life, even though your father passed away when you were young. Nevertheless, you had your mother and your  childhood friend, Zack. Zack was a Goofball growing up, but you always considered him as a close friend. He would always tell you about his dream about becoming a hero in SOLDIER and insists that you join him. You gave it some thought and decided that you wanted to join. However, your mother kept denying. She kept arguing that if you sign up for SOLDIER, People will find out that you're ancient. Who knows what Shinra is up to. But you didn't listen, you just wanted to get out of Gongaga with Zack. On the day after of your 14th birthday, you and Zack said your goodbyes to your family and headed off to Midgar.
Once you made it to Midgar and tryout for the SOLDIER program, you surprisingly got in, since you didn't have most of the requirements for SOLDIER. Right away, you and Zack were sent for training and been given mentors. Zack's mentor was a SOLDIER named Angeal, yours was one of the most famous and well known SOLDIER's, Sephiroth. You didn't know how to feel about Sephiroth being your mentor, knowing that he's the guy who's basically going to teach you everything you need to know.
You were then asked what weapon you wanted to use. You chose a spear (A/n: your welcome to change if you like) because you wanted to be different then just use a plan sword. Sephiroth then pulled you off to the side and gave you a crystal bracelet. It's

"It's a summoners bracelet. It will give you the ability to summon your weapon whenever you need it. That way you don't have to carry it around with you." Sephiroth said as he was putting the bracelet on you.
"Thanks. It's beautiful." You said as examining the bracelet. "We should ummm probably get you an SOLDIER uniform." He said.
"Right."
Ever since then, you and Sephiroth trained hard 24/7, until you become the very best. Even though you could never beat him on a 1v1 battle. You managed to work your way up all the way up to first class SOLDIER. Even before Zack, which was shocking but also funny.
"Who's the slow one now." You will always smirk at Zack telling you to shut up every time. Even though the past 3 years you were in SOLDIER, you never lost your friendship with Zack. He was always there for support and training the whole time, you did same thing for him. He would mainly tell stories about his little girlfriend you've never meet but wanted to.
You also managed to meet a infantryman from Shinra's army. His name was Cloud Strife. You guys met him when you and Zack were sent to Modeoheim. You and Cloud would talk a lot about many subjects for hours. You even offered to train him a little bit about SOLDIER secretly. Since he wasn't qualified for the SOLDIER program.
As you grew closer to him, he was involved in more of your missions. Especially when the next one you were scheduled to with Zack and Sephiroth. To Nibelheim.
On the way there, you noticed Cloud being a little down. You knew Nibelheim was his hometown but you expected him to be happy not sad. He didn't really say anything about it and just sat quietly throughout the entire ride.
Once you've gotten there, Cloud was acting strange especially around a certain girl named Tifa, who was a tour guide for the Nibelheim reactor plant. You and Tifa started up some conversations along the way claiming yourselves friends.
All things were looking good, until you, Zack and Sephiroth went into the reactor. You never knew why but Sephiroth began going crazy out of his mind saying something about "Mother." The next thing you knew, he burnt down the village of Nibelheim. You never saw this coming from him. You always knew him as a strong and honest person who would never do something like this. You and Zack ran to the reactor to put an end to all of this. As soon as you got there you saw Tifa laying on the ground crying and hurt. You offered to treat her wounds while Zack talks to Sephiroth. Unfortunately the fight didn't go well and Zack was injured badly by Sephiroth. You had no choice but to summon your spear and face Sephiroth.
"Sephiroth please! This isn't you!" You shouted.
"Did you hear that mother? Clearly she doesn't understand that I was meant to rule this planet."
Tears started shedding from your eyes. "I trusted you...I don't wanna do this but..." You swung your spear towards his face but been blocked by Sephiroth's katana.
"I have to kill you."
Your battle went on that felt like ages and you began to get more and more exhausted. Until, Sephiroth was able to sab you in the abdomen area, and throwing you were Jenova was kept. Glass shattered everywhere, it scraped your skin and your uniform deeply. Eventually leaving scars, especially on your back.
You were laying on the ground gasping for air, trying to move. "Mother, I believe I haven't told you the real reason why (Y/N) was joined in SOLDIER. Truth is, she never qualified for the test. Instead, we found out she was an ancient. We didn't want to capture her right away so we just decided to keep her in SOLDIER."
"T-That's...Not...T-True!" You shouted.
"I would like to explain more but me and Mother have somewhere you be-" Sephiroth cut off.
You glanced over to see Cloud holding the buster sword in his hand and sliced Sephiroth in the abdomen. He pulled the sword out of Sephiroth as he collapsed to the ground.
"(Y/N)!" Cloud than dropped the Buster sword ran over to you. He tried picking you up but your back was covered in scraps and glass. "Argh!" You hissed in pain.
"What did he do you?" He questioned.
You were about to answer him until you saw Sephiroth behind him. "CLOUD! LOOK OUT!"
Sephiroth stabbed cloud and picked him up with his sword. You were unable to move to help him out. But then you glanced over to see that Cloud was using Sephiroth's katana to lift him up with all of his strength.
"Wait... that's impossible!" Sephiroth was then thrown into the reactor by Cloud, killing Sephiroth.
Cloud then pulled the katana out of him and fell into the ground.
"C-Cloud...." You said while trying to reach for him, but it was too late. You passed out due to lack of blood loss.
You woke up in a tank filled with some liquid substance not knowing where, probably the capitol, and saw you were covered in tubes and wires. You looked around on the outside of the tank and saw scientists working on some experiment of some sort. You automatically knew it was you. 'I have to get out ,' you told yourself and started punching the glass.
"She's awake! Call the soldiers!" ordered a scientist. You continued breaking the glass with all your strength and with one final strike, it bursted into pieces. The substance went everywhere flooding the entire room.
You yanked off all the tubes attached to you, grabbed your summoning bracelet, and began your way out. Your body was still numb from being in the substance so all I could do was walk at a fast pace.
'I better get out of here before any soldiers come,' you told yourself. You came near a large window leading towards the outside of Midgar. You could escape by going through the window and running across the sides of the buildings.
"Hey stop right there!" You heard a soldier scream. You didn't have a choice. You were too weak to fight. So, you smashed the window and quickly hopped through it.
You jogged and jumped from tower to tower hoping You can make an escape. Then as soon as you thought there was no way of exiting, you saw a nearby train heading towards this way. 'Bingo!' As you ran as fast as you can towards the train more soldiers have been gained upon me.
With all your strength left in your body, You jumped from the steal walls of the Midgar capitol, to a moving train.
You managed to get inside one of the train cars and saw it was heading towards the Sector 7 Slums. You thought it would be a good place to hide for now until you can gather up what's going on. You also tried to hide from the people on the Train since you were still in your horribly ripped up SOLDIER uniform that practically exposable.
Once the train stopped at the Sector 7 slums. You got off and looked around the place, it smelled but you can handle it for a while. As you were walking off the Train you started having huge headaches that hurt like hell. You were holding your head with both of your hands, grunting in pain. You begin seeing small visions of some sort but couldn't confirm what they were. You then felt a hand on your soldier.
"Hey, is everything alright?"
