Chapter Four (Techno's Pov)

He knew something would go wrong the moment Phil said he wanted to go to the nether fortress. All it would do was make Phil sadder when he didn't find him there. Techno knew that was the only reason Phil would risk a fortress visit right now, but he also knew that he wouldn't be able to convince him not to go. He figured if Phil was gonna go he was going to at least make sure he returned safely.

They started to leave after a few hours of searching but Phil didn't check the corner. Techno saw the skeleton dash down the hall headed straight for Phil. He jumped in the way as he screamed "PHIL LOOK OUTTT" (Well it came out sorta as a loud oink but you get the point) 

He started fighting the wither skeleton with all his might. Luckily for him, the hoglin form gave him some extra strength so that plus his years of fighting experience meant this skeleton didn't stand a chance.

He heard Phil behind him and turned to look... The wither skeleton hit him right in the shoulder and the world went black...

He woke up and Phil was trying to fix up his shoulder, everything was hurting and all he wanted was to be back to his human form. Techno just wanted to be able to tell Phil he was sorry for putting him thru all this. 

For some reason, today was the day the universe decided to answer his wishes. He felt himself start to transform and he had never been more grateful. On the downside, his body was so overworked from fighting the poison that he couldn't muster the strength to get up or speak for that matter.

Techno was forced to watch as Phil tried to wake him up. Fate was the stupidest thing in the world. It finally gave Techno something but immediately stripped it away. He felt his consciousness slipping as Phil picked him up and started to head out of the fortress. 

When he regained consciousness he was in his cave. Phil looked like he had been crying, but he couldn't blame him he would've been crying if he was in his position. Techno started to sit up and Phil immediately rushed over to him and started helping him use the wall of the cave as back support. 

"Are you okay? Do you need water? Can you talk right now?" Phil looked extremely worried ready to get Techno anything he needed. He tried to croak out an answer but his vocal cords were sore, so he just made a weak point to his throat and hoped Phil got the message. 

Phil gave him some water and said "Don't you dare do something like that again"

Don't worry everyone this won't be the end!! I just figured it would be nice to end the chapter where the animatic stops. I currently have a few different ideas of where this could go but I'm open to suggestions too so if you want you can leave some ideas and maybe I'll add them. 

Also, I just wanted to say a quick sorry bc I know there were some people who really wanted the sad ending but maybe (emphasis on maybe) I'll do an extra chapter where I show what would've happened if he died. (Plus maybe there will be some angst in the future)
