Chapter 5 (Phil's POV)

(A/N) I got the idea for this new story arc from @Sunnygaming14 I might change a few details but idk

It had been two days since he found out Techno was the hoglin. Phil still didn't believe it, how long had he been hiding this? Techno should know that him being part hoglin wouldn't change his opinion on him. A few crows came over and landed on his shoulder.

"He doesn't trust you"

"Yes, he does he just couldn't be sure if you would turn him in or not" another crow piped up.

But Techno knows his opinion on the treatment of hybrids. For god's sake, he's a hybrid himself obviously he wouldn't turn him in. He started to get more anxious by the minute until the crows snapped him out of it. (They said something along the lines of "Stop worrying and take care of him!!")

Phil tried to push his concerns down but he still couldn't stop the tears that rolled down his face. He was still in the cave so there wasn't anything that could help distract him from his misery. Suddenly he saw Techno start to move.

"Oh thank god he's not dead"

"He wasn't going to die obvi Tecnblad never dies"

"*Tecnoblad"

"**Tecnoblade"

"Ugh you get what I mean"

He tried to pull his attention away from the strange conversation the crows were having. (Like seriously how did they manage to get have typos irl) And focus on his half-conscious friend. Techno started to open his eyes. He immediately started helping Techno prop himself up using the cave wall.

"Are you okay? Do you need water? Can you talk right now?" Techno kinda pointed towards his throat to signal he couldn't really talk well. He grabbed the canteen of water he brought with him and gave some to Techno. "Don't you dare do something like that ever again" he scolded jokingly. Techno smiled and nodded slightly.

"Do you think you'd be able to walk back home if you lean against me?" he asked. Techno nodded and Phil started helping him to his feet. It wasn't ideal for him to be active with his current injury but he didn't have any resources out in the nether so it would have to make do.

It took them almost an hour to get home and they were both exhausted but Phil didn't want to waste any time so he helped Techno to the couch and grabbed his medical supplies.

Currently, Techno was in a pretty good state considering the conditions. It looked like all he'd need was for Phil to wrap up his wound and an enchanted golden apple to clear up the poison. So after he wrapped up the wound he went to his enderchest to grab one of the apples. They were incredibly hard to get but Techno and Phil would occasionally go on journeys to get a few extra supplies so the pair normally had at least one or two.

But when he opened his enderchest he found nothing. (His normal stuff was still in there btw he just didn't have enchanted apples) He started searching the whole house to see if maybe they had misplaced one but after checking all the possible spots he had to give up.

Really quick authors note!!! There are no apples in Techno's enderchest, I could write a quick scene where Phil has Techno check his enderchest but I'm lazy so you get this XD
