Eric kept his breath steady as he walked towards Felix's dorm. He gripped onto his backpack nervously. He wasn't anxious about confronting a possible enemy. It was the thought that the three of them were taking matters into their own hand without reporting to the older members.

It was thrilling~~~

"Eric, get your head screwed on." Sunwoo snapped in his ear.

Eric rolled his eyes and replied back a grunt. Hyunjun and Sunwoo were standing by somewhere just in case. After a few more steps, Eric stood in front of Felix's dorm room. He took in a deep breath and knocked on the door. It opened almost immediately.

"Oh, hey." Felix greeted.

"Hey. Is Jeongin here already?" Eric asked, peeking inside.

"Nope. But you can come wait inside. He said he had to take care of a few stuff."

Eric nodded and walked into the room. Felix took a glance into the corridor then closed the door behind him. He turned to Eric with a smile and gestured towards the only chair in the room. Eric sat down, feeling a bit awkward which was unusual for him. He was Eric.

"So, you're in the same class with Jeongin? How is he in class?" Felix asked, settling down on his bed.

"We've never actually talked." Eric admitted.

"Oh, then why are you working with him?"

"I wanted to get to know him starting now. And also, he seems to be a responsible kind of student."

Eric felt like he was being interrogated but he let it pass. His eyes wandered towards the computer on the desk. He knew what he saw the other day. Now he's feeling a teensy bit of regret just coming in alone.

"That's nice of you. Are you always generous to strangers?" Felix asked in an amused tone.

"Umm.... if you put it that way, I don't know how to respond." Eric replied, rubbing his nape sheepishly.

Felix smiled at him. He got up and walked towards Eric, towering over the guy. Eric looked up at him with confused eyes.

Eric flinched as Felix bent down to level their gazes. Felix came in dangerously close but Eric didn't move away. He stubbornly held eye contact.

"I like you."

"...Pardon?"

Felix chuckled as his hands travelled towards Eric's wrists resting on the chair arms. Eric swiftly moved his hands away and smiled innocently.

"Thanks for liking me."

"No problem."

The tension in the room was stiff and suffocating. Both of them held eye contact, not wanting to back away. Then, Eric heard something in his earpiece. He tried to maintain a neutral look as he focused on the sound.

"Er-Eric, get-"

The sound got cut off. Eric remained calm as Felix walked over to his window to draw down the curtains. He spun around towards him, his eyes catching a glimpse of two figures chasing each other. One of them was extremely familiar while the other was almost.

Then the curtain covered the view fully and Eric looked up at Felix. Felix smiled and sat back on his bed as if nothing happened. The atmosphere in the room was tense.

"Eric, you're up." Sunwoo spoke clearly now.

And Eric understood. He chuckled and glanced at Felix who remained calm. Eric leant back into the chair comfortably, not bothering to hide his true intentions now.
