Hyunjae stood beside by the bed, watching Chanhee who was laying unconscious. He didn't do anything. He just stared at the younger.
He wasn't worried that Chanhee wouldn't wake up. These accidents were normal. But how come his chest feels stuffy?
"Can't you leave Chanhee hyung alone? Your staring is loud." Hyunjun said, coming into the room.
Hyunjun huffed at the lack of response. He silently put down the tray on the bedside desk and sat down beside Chanhee. He adjusted the blankets on his hyung. Chanhee stirred awake at that.
"Oh, you're up?" Hyunjun said.
Chanhee groaned in response. Hyunjun grinned and grabbed the glass of water he just brought, giving it to Chanhee. Chanhee gulped it down in one shot, wincing when he worked his back muscles to swallow the water. Hyunjun looked at him worriedly.
"You should stay put for a couple of days." He suggested.
Chanhee smiled and was about to respond when he noticed another presence in the room. He glanced at Hyunjae who was still staring at him, now with a nonchalant look. Chanhee took another sip after Hyunjun refilled his glass.
"I'm fine. Thanks for worrying." He said, turning to Hyunjun.
"If you say so. Sangyeon said the mission went well and not to worry."
"How about the necklaces?"
"The ones hidden in the painting? Got it." Hyunjun winked.
"Though it was damaged due to someone not being careful. Jacob and Kevin had to mend them." Hyunjae intervened.
Chanhee held back an annoyed sigh and looked away from the two of them. Hyunjun turned to Hyunjae with a disappointed look. Hyunjae shrugged. Chanhee's phone rang at that moment. Hyunjun reached for the phone, frowning at the contact name. Chanhee grabbed it and his annoyed expression changed to surprise. He cleared his throat and picked it up.
"Hello? I know. Good evening.........Did you have something to say?"
Chanhee chuckled to himself and brought up his knees to his chest. He rested his chin on them and bit back a smile at Chan's awkward tone. Hyunjun tilted his head at the scene. He turned to Hyunjae, asking with his eyes. Hyunjae shook his head and went back to staring at Chanhee.
"Hmm? You mean having lunch together? You move fast, you know." Chanhee giggled.
Hyunjae raised a brow at the reaction. Now, he had a guess at who Chanhee was talking to and Hyunjae felt like murdering him. Though he didn't really have a reason to.
Hyunjun looked at Hyunjae then at Chanhee then stood up. He quietly slipped out of the room, unnoticed.
"Okie! Good night, Chan-ssi~~" Chanhee hung up.
He smiled to himself and looked up. He frowned in confusion when he didn't see Hyunjun. He turned to Hyunjae.
"Where did Hyunjun go?"
"Out. You do remember you fell from three stories just today." Hyunjae said, ignoring Chanhee's bored look.
"I know. The constant pain stabs in my back keeps reminding me without you having to do so."
"Then why are you making plans to go out? Hyunjun just said to rest for a couple of days."
"I am!"
"You can't go." Hyunjae said firmly.
Chanhee went silent. His mouth parted slightly in disbelief and his eyes screamed unfairness. He scoffed after a moment.
"Why not?"
