Flashback a month back, Calli POV

Ame: I'll ask again, Calli. Do you love Y/N?

Calli: Ame-

Ame: Don't avoid the question. It's a simple yes or no answer.

Calli: Why do you want to know anyways?

Ame: Calli?

Calli:...Yes...no...I DON'T KNOW!

Ame: Calli...you need to find your answer soon. We humans live short lives and before you know it...

Calli: Shut up, Ame...

Ame: Calli-

Calli: SHUT UP!

Everyone stayed silent for a few moments.

Ame: Everything dies, Calli. You just have to accept it...

After saying those words, Ame left leaving me, Gura, Ina, and Kiara there in silence.

Calli: I know...I know, Ame...

I left Holomyth HQ and started walking. I looked up and saw the sun starting to set.

Y/N: Calli?

I looked behind me to see Y/N looking at me.

Calli: Y-Y/N? What are you doing here.

Y/N: Just walking around and then I ran into you. What are you doing here?

Calli: Me and Ame had a little fight. We both left HQ afterwards.

Y/N: Oh...I heard from Ina that you 2 had a fight.

I leaned against a building then sat down looking at the floor. Y/N sat down next to me.

Y/N: What were you 2 fighting about?

Calli: Humans have short lives...Ame said that everything will die in time. I sort of...lost it...when she said all that.

Y/N: She's right...everything does die...

Calli: I knew it from the bottom of my heart...but I didn't want to accept the undeniable reality.

Y/N: If you didn't do anything to help me...when I got hit by that car. And when I was a little kid... my life would have been much shorter. But you saved me...even knowing that humans die.

Calli: Yeah...I did...

I looked at him and smiled.

Calli: Thanks, Y/N. For cheering me up.

Y/N smiled back at me.

Y/N: No problem.

Calli thoughts: I think I've found my answer to your question, Ame.

Present day Y/N POV

I was laying on my bed looking at my phone. I turned off my phone thinking back to Ame's question.

Y/N: Do I like Calli? I just don't know how to answer her question...

My phone lit up and I looked at it to see a message from Riko saying he's finally out of detention. Another message came shortly after.
Ina was saying is telling me to come to Holomyth HQ. After getting that message, i grabbed my jacket and left the house. While on my way to Holomyth HQ, I ran into Riko.

Riko: Hey, Y/N?

Y/N: Oh, Hey, Riko?

Riko: Now that I'm out of that detention, want to hang out somewhere.

Y/N: I would but I have somewhere to be. Maybe next time, Riko.

I walked passed him and went on my way.

???: Hey, Y/N?

I looked behind me to see Calli there running towards me.

Y/N: Hey, Calli?

She began walking with me along to Holomyth.

Calli: Why are you heading to Holomyth, Y/N?
Y/N: I, um...got a message from Ina telling me to come to Holomyth HQ.

Calli: Oh? I got a message from Kiara to come to Holomyth.

Y/N: (mumbling) What are they planning?

Calli: Did you say something?

Y/N: Huh? Oh, sorry. Just talking to myself. It's nothing important.

We then walked in awkward silence until Calli attempted to start a conversation.

Calli: So...why do you think they told us to go to Holomyth.

Y/N: (sighs) I was wondering the same thing. I don't know why though.

I checked the time on my phone. It was 4:30 in the afternoon.

Y/N: Let's just hope they didn't do anything bad.

Calli: Hehe. They can get into trouble sometimes.

Flashback

I looked wide eyed at the Holomyth HQ. Burn marks all across the building. I looked to the side to also see a hole through the wall seeing Gura, Ina, and Calli trying to fix the wall.

Y/N: W-W-What happened here?!?!

Kiara rubbed the back of her head and laughed nervously. Amelia just sighed and seemed a bit irritated at the condition of the wall.

Ame: Kiara...went a little to far and...destroyed the wall.

Y/N:..........huh?

Kiara: My bad. It was on accident! I swear!

Ame facepalmed.

Ame: How can it be an accident...WHEN THE ENTIRE WALL IS COVERED IN BURNT MARKS?!

End of Flashback

Y/N: Ame was NOT happy.

Calli: Not at all. Ame would never do something as bad as destroy the wall.

I looked ahead of me and saw Holomyth come into view.

Y/N: Hard to believe that's the same place that had a damaged wall just a little while ago. You can't even tell it was damaged in the first place.

Calli: Yup. Good as new.

I was about to place my hand on the door.

Y/N: It won't break if I touch it, right?

Calli: Of course not!

I smiled at her reaction.

Y/N thoughts: I think I found my answer to your question, Ame.

I opened the door to Holomyth.
