Normani, Chloe, and Halle walked through more of the park grounds, heading across a relatively open area. Wanting to be sure that they were going the right way, Normani pulled out her phone and brought up the picture of the park's map she took earlier.

"My body's starting to feel weak," Halle said, leaning on Chloe.

"The visitor's center should be just about a mile beyond that rise," Normani said. "If we keep-"

An animal cry was suddenly heard loud and clear. Soon, it was repeated by more animals. The three looked up before looking all around them. They soon saw a heard of dinosaurs making their way out into the field.

"What are they?" Normani asked. "Can you girls tell me what species they are?"

"Gallimimus," Chloe and Halle answered.

"Very good," Normani smiled.

They then heard a low rumble coming from further ahead of the heard. They froze in their spot as they watched the heard make their way towards them.

"They're, uh..." Halle said, "...they're flocking this way..."

Just as soon as the three of them rushed to a nearby fallen tree, a stampede of dinosaurs dashed to their direction. Once they settled behind the tree, they peered their heads up to take another look at the flock. Normani was amazed.

"Look at the wheeling," she said. "The uniform direction change! Like a flock of birds evading a predator!"

Sure enough, they heard a familiar roar, the tyrannosaurus rex emerging from the nearby jungle.

"Shit..." the three of them curse under their breath.

They watched as the T-rex ran down one of the Gallimimus and sank its teeth into its neck. The kill was done in a cloud of dust and debris. Normani and Halle couldn't help but stare in wonder, while Chloe drew back in fear.

"Can we please go now?" she asked Normani, tugging on her arm to get her to move.

Breaking out of her trance, Normani holds Chloe's hand.

"Keep low and follow me," she said.

She turned before sneakily running away from the fallen tree, Chloe right behind her. Halle was still transfixed on the kill.

"Look at all that blood..." she said.

Normani came back and scooped her up with lightening speed before running towards the jungle where Chloe waited for them. Back in the emergency bunker, Dinah impatiently paced back and forth, Victoria laying on a nearby table as she helplessly looked up at the ceiling. Mark and Chris were silently praying, all of them waiting for Ray to finally return. But it had been hours since he departed.

"Something's happened," Dinah said. "Something's wrong."

"It's just a delay," Mark assured. "All major theme parks have delays. When they opened Disneyland in '56, nothing worked."

"But if the Pirates of the Caribbean break down," Victoria said, "the pirates don't eat the tourists."

Silence fell over the group once again as Dinah continued to pace, loathing the fact that all they could do was just wait.

"I can't wait anymore," she said. "Something went wrong. I'm going to go get the power back on myself."

"That's not necessarily a hop skip journey, you know?" Chris said.

"Let's not get hasty," Mark said. "Ray's only been gone-"

He paused to look at his watch.

Chris wastes no time in walking over to a steel cabinet filled with firearms, Dinah joining him.
