"Let's go girls! Come on!" Miss. Abby yelled to us as we walked into rehearsal.

Last weekend wasn't good at all. The group didn't even place in the top five and we always placed in the five.

I sat down next to Chloe as Miss. Abby said, "Viv-Anne, where's your dance clothes?"

We all turned to look at her, "It's in the car."

"You need to be dressed and ready to dance when you walk in this building, yes?"

Vivi nodded her head.

"I want to recap a little bit about the competition," Miss. Abby says, "Now, there are some things that went on that maybe you don't even know about. Your mom was upset about the costume. Your mom was upset about the costume before you went onstage."

We always knew that Chrisit and Holly hated the costume, the dance must have thrown them over the edge.

"But that cannot happen again," Miss. Abby continued, "Let's talk about what we're going to do this weekend. We're going to New Jersey, and we are going to do an acrobatic gymnastic routine."

Then Miss. Abby went through the pyramid. I wasn't surprised by my place because I did mess up on my side aerial to bring the duet. I was gonna tell Miss. Abby that I want to do a solo but I was still thinking about it.

"Overall, I evaluated all of your performances," Miss. Abby says, "So, Maddie, you won that competition and the title. I'm going to leave you right where you were, yes?"

When Miss. Abby told us that the group routine was acro, I got excited because if I do better on my acro, she will see that I can improve in a short amount of time.

Miss. Abby pointed at Brooke's headshot and said, "Brooke, I expect you to help the younger students. And I expect you to know the choreography first and be able to help everybody else.

"All right," Miss. Abby continued, "Nia, Paige, you'll be doing the tumbling part and the acro part. Vivi-Anne, because you're new here, and you don't really know all of our terminology, and I'm going to work privately with you this week. And so you're going to do a solo at the competition this weekend."

I didn't want to be rude, but I didn't know why Miss. Abby wants Vivi to be on the competition team. She is only seven and Mom said that she doesn't know as many tricks as Mackenzie.

"All right, girls, let's go," Miss. Abby says as we get to our feet and starts to the door, "Get up, get ready to rehearse. Mom, thank you very much. Vivi, don't forget-- you need to be in dance clothes whenever you want into this room."

As soon as we finished stretching, we started having our acro class.

I didn't like acro very much but I wanted to learn how to do all the dance tips. But my least favorite dance was jazz, I just didn't like it at all because it doesn't really show off your skills or technique.

Soon, our acro class was finished and we started on the choreography for our new group dance.

We were all practicing when the door opened, I looked to see that it was Kelly.

"Abby."

"Yes."

"I think we should talk."

Miss. Abby went into the other room with Kelly to talk about god knows what.

Gianna, Miss. Abby helper, started going through the stuff we already knew till Miss. Abby came back.
