"Monnie!" Maddie's voice yelled, "Come on! We're gonna be late for rehearsal."

I rolled over onto my side not wanting to get up for rehearsal. Middle school is a lot more draining than I thought it was. On Monday, I always take a nap to get my energy back for rehearsal.

"I'm coming," I yelled to my sister as I focused myself out of bed.

I quickly got dressed in a two piece sky blue outfit and put my favorite grey hoodie over it. I went to the bathroom once I was dressed and put my light brown hair into a high ponytail. Then I was ready to go.

"Monnie!"

"Come!" I yelled from the bathroom as I started towards the stairs. I looked to see that my sisters and my mom were waiting for me.

My mom gave me a smile and handed me my dance bag and we were out the door.

The car ride there was normal, Maddie wouldn't shut up about competition and other stuff that happened at the studio.

Once we got to the studio, we went into the dance den to stretch and to my surprise, we were the last ones to show up.

"Monnie!" Chloe yelled as she jumped up to give me a hug.

"Hey, Chlo," I smiled as I got down beside her to stretch.

As we stretched, everyone was laughing and having a good time. But then everyone heard a voice yell, "Girls, let's go! Come on!"

Everyone walked into Studio A ready for the pyramid and I had no idea what was gonna happen. But one thing was for sure, I was kinda excited about being the oldest of the group.

"Come on, we have a lot of work, today," Miss. Abby says as she started pyramid, "Congratulations on another victorious weekend."

We all clapped for ourselves, we won... again!

"You won, however," Miss. Abby says, "I see things I need to fix. Paige, you were ok in the group but you know that you messed up that whole leap backstage. Kendall, on the grand-jete, you did it crossing to the right, so we couldn't see if the hips were in line or not. Nia, you did a great job in the group dance. You did not pull my eyes negatively. But I want you to start pulling my eyes positively. Monica, you know that you bobbled on your turns and you were clearly the oldest on that stage, I was a little disappointed."

I nodded my head to my dance teacher. I knew that I bobbled and I was going to fix so she can never say that she's disappointed.

"This week," Miss. Abby continued, "we are attending Hollywood Vibe. Those judges and the directors and everybody that runs Hollywood Vibe, they are from L.A or they are from New York City. They are looking for the next big thing. The next star, the next little kid to be in their video or their commercial. So you need to be on your A game. Moms..."

Miss. Abby gave the moms a look before moving onto the pyramid, "Onto the pyramid. I'm not even gonna discuss this. Moving on to Paige. You're gonna have to work back up that ladder. Next, I have Nia, you've been working very hard but you still need to fix those technical issues. Kendall. Kendall, you are still on probation. Mom, it's a long process."

I looked over at Jill, who is now a close friend of my moms to see that she looked very annoyed with the fact that her daughter is still on probation.

"Oh, my God!"

"Monica," Miss. Abby continues, "You were ok in the group but you still messed up the turns. You do fantastic with your solos, you rule the stage out there. But in the group dance, you just... don't exist... until you mess up something."
