Senku curses his luck.

He swears that all of his good luck was taken away by the Tigress and thus all he has left are misfortunes. Which brought him to his current predicament.

"You big oaf! You better not break Yuzuriha when we're running-" Senku wasn't a stamina freak nor a Tigress, so his words came out as a half-whisper and a half-yell. His panting turns rather heavy as he rounds a corner.

"I won't! I'll protect Yuzuriha with my life!"

"Then you better run!"

"Running!"

Holy shit-Senku really needed to work on his stamina and cardio 'cause he was this close to falling face flat onto the ground.

"We should call for sensei-"

"No! You idiot! Do you think she can fight off a pack of lions? Even she isn't that strong!"

"But sensei knows what to do! She always does!"

Senku has to admit to that. For an immature and illogical adult, she has a knack for knowing what to do at the exact moment. Was it because she was an adult?

"Yeah? Well, she isn't here right now! We have to figure this out ourselves!"

And secretly, Senku didn't want to rely on her for once. He already has relied on her for many things and this will not be one of them.

Use your brain dammit!

"Senku! Take Yuzuriha with you and meet up with sensei! I'll fend them off-" Taiju receives a hard knock on the head.

"You fucking idiot! You can't fight lions! Get that through your thick skull! And also, Tigress is gonna peel my skin off if you don't come back with me! We're gonna survive together dammit!"

"But-"

"When you think about it logically, when we run, we run together!" It didn't take long for the logic to settle into his simple brain.

"You're right!" They dash away from the lions again. Senku could barely drag his feet at this point, yet he continues on. It's a do-or-die situation and he wouldn't die to fucking lions!

If only they had someone who has super inhuman fighting ability - that's literally impossible-

"Senku! I found him, the strongest high school primate, Shishiou Tsukasa!"

What the fuck - is it only him who has bad luck?

Senku wastes no time thinking.

"Hurry up and spill it on him! Apologize to Yuzuriha later!" Taiju hurriedly pours the revival fluid onto the stoned man. Senku could tell just by his physique that this man, this athlete, is strong.

Maybe too strong. But can he fight against a pack of lions?

"Damn, sorry for waking you up after thousands of years into this situation you know nothing about!" Taiju apologizes again before he turns around to face the hungry lions. His hands are sweaty from the nervousness and adrenaline in his blood.

Senku cannot believe they have to rely on someone else in this situation. But...what choice do they have now?

"Lions surrounding us from 9 to 2 o'clock!"

"Got it." In a brief moment, the man breaks out of his stone person and immediately reacts to their situation

It was almost too natural, almost as if fighting was his basic nature.
