XXXIV - Following

We're both walking back to our houses. She slowly intertwines her fingers with mine as we walk, and it sends shivers up my spines. I can't believe we're actually dating. This is really going to need a lot of getting used to. We reach the fronts of our houses, and I turn to face her. "Today was amazing, thanks for inviting me," I smile at her. "Well, I had to confess too, so it was a win-win situation," she chuckles. "I'll see you tomorrow?", I ask her. She gets on her toes and plants a kiss on my cheek. "You bet," she says, and walks into her house. Heat rushes to my cheeks, as I rush into my own house.

I feel like I could scream. Today was so perfect, I feel like karma is going to give me 2 entire weeks of bad luck to make up for all this perfection. I go up to my room, and fall face flat onto the bed, burying my face in the pillow. After a while, I get up and peek through my curtains at Kage- Tobio's window. The curtains were drawn.

Sunday, 7:23 p.m.

oi, draw ur curtains

rude-ass kun
what? why?

He draws his curtains open, and looks at me through the window. I smile at him, and take out my phone to text him.

I smirk, knowing that I made him a little flustered. I glance into his room, and I'm right. He's covering his face with one hand, with his phone in the other.
