A/N:  I'll admit, it has been hard to write new material for Lucifer among other characters, I decided to write other stories that would use the same likeness, it may not be Hazbin but I do hope you enjoy it all the same.

In a time where the earth was still growing, man was scattered throughout the land huddled in small towns and villages, forests filled with all kinds of creatures as well as stories of witchcraft, magic, and monsters of legend and fables. In a small village lived a girl who had just lost her parents in a carriage accident, having gone off the road while they tried to sell their wares in the town of Helion. They never made it back, Mika was a young girl of sixteen living with her younger sister and brother, she worked with the small farmer market in her village, one would think that the people in such a small place would look after one another but she was just seen with pity. Having to look after her siblings while keeping them fed, she had a few nice neighbors that would offer some food which helped every so often, their home was small and breaking down around them but she had a small fortune that her parents had left behind.

Mika did everything in her power to protect that fortune for her family, what was left of it but there was another who had other plans, her Parent's rival was a carriage maker who worked on tires and wheels for carriages. Harvey was about to reach his thirties, he had his eyes on the young girl and since her parents passing he had tried advances with her, promising to take care of everything she could ever want but the young girl wanted nothing to do with the man who was rumored to have sabotaged her parent's carriage.  Sinister things were being plotted behind her back, the village had a priest pay them a visit, he was praised and thanked for his blessings as he'd pass by the young girl's home, Mika was off working when she heard the screams of her siblings. Running out into the crowd as she cried out at the sight of her brother and sister being loaded on a carriage, the priest turned to face her as she cried and begged for him to release them.

"My dear, they are being taken to the orphanage within the Church in Helion, there they will grow to be fine citizens and work to pay their way in life. You should be grateful that mercy is being taken on them," Mika tried to pull on the priest's robes but was brushed aside to fall to her knees, watching the scene before her as Harvey came to stand behind her.

"There there, it'll be alright. Maybe if we could show him that they have someone looking after them, if you were to be mine, Mika. I would take care of your family, they could stay." She glared at the man whose arm wrapped around her waist, she felt trapped, lost in everything that had been going on in her life that her siblings were taken away and she was left sitting there on the ground. Harvey scoffed and turned to leave as he called out to her,

"You'll come around eventually!" It took a few hours to stand back up, stress and fatigue threatening to make her fall again as she headed home only to find Harvey had broken into her home to steal what he'd been after all along. Her family's heirlooms and a small fortune, she charged at him trying to fight as he struck her unconscious, blood at her head as she fell to the ground, Harvey rolled his eyes and went about lifting her. He'd travel out into the forest, a long trip towards the mountains where there was a rumor of a monster that roamed the darkness that most wouldn't venture into, Mika was left in a heap at the base of a stone pillar from some fallen ruin.

"Should have accepted my proposal, foolish girl." He left.

The forest was dense with fog as the night grew, the temperature was cold as the dew was already forming upon the flora, the girl groaned as she came awake to hold her head and slowly sitting up to look around confused while she recalled what happened. She wore a simple cloth tunic with trousers, her hair was normally tied up but now it was disheveled as she went about leaning against the stone pillar, sniffling as tears began to fall and she held her head within her hands. What was she to do now? She had lost everything and there was nothing she could... growls could be heard, yipping and barking made her look up to see a pack of wild dogs beginning to circle her as she went about standing up to gasp.
