New Orleans, a city filled with music and drink, parties that lasted days and nights for all the world to see and hear, times changed rapidly as new developments came and during the year 1930, it was a very interesting period for a man who was famous on the Radio to have experienced something very few ever get to see.  It happened one late night, music in the air, lights all around to chase away the shadows while Alastor made his way down the familiar streets and shops watching the crowd as he normally did.  This man was a Radio Talk Show host, recently he'd been doing stories on murders, few of them were his own doing but that was his secret, however, these recent killings were not his doing and so believing that someone else was on his turf taking his efforts and fun away.  He was going to hunt them down and make sure they paid for their transgression, there was a new group in town though, tourists traveled far to have time off to enjoy life but this group of men dressed in black mostly or in some old fashion style brought attention to the way they were looking at the crowd.  Predators.  It was eerie to see them as Alastor felt a type of pull to them, they were charming and good looking, every single one of them seemed inhuman which was confusing to someone like him, he never saw another in that kind of light, and yet one, in particular, was calling to him.

Standing in the midst of four other men, one stood out, his golden blonde locks neatly combed back with a few strands over his deep blue eyes, unlike the others, he held color to his cheeks while dressed in a black suit with a burgundy red dress shirt underneath.  They were discussing something but being too far to hear, Alastor was left staring from afar before suddenly meeting the man's eyes.  Frozen in place, never had he felt this feeling of someone holding him down with just their gaze alone, Alastor wasn't afraid of most but at the moment he felt weak and vulnerable to this man's gaze.  It ended as quickly as it started when the group started to move along, they were following a few people that headed down an alley for a shortcut out of the party.  Could they be the ones responsible for the recent killings?  If so, it would be difficult for Alastor to get rid of that many people at once, he'd make his way to follow behind as quietly as he did when stalking his own prey.  Sure enough, he found three of the men holding the other three people, two were women and one man, pinned against the walls where soft moaning along with slurping sounds could be heard.  Wait, where is the other man...

"How unfortunate, haven't you ever heard, curiosity killed the cat~"  A voice as fine as silk came right next to his ear, the man was behind him, so close that the scent of apples surrounded his senses, adrenal pumped through him to make him whirl around but he was grabbed.  Wrist held in the air painfully to where Alastor grunted, another hand came around his torso to grab ahold of his chin to keep him in place, held against the man's chest while he would like to fight back, the other's strength was too much for him.

"Hmmm not a cat at all, more like a handsome buck, aren't you that famous talk show host?  Alastor I believe,"

"Who... who are you... what's going on here-"

"You're in no position to ask questions, but since I'm feeling generous tonight.  We're simply out enjoying a good time, would you care to do the same?"  Alastor glanced back over to the group of people, the three party-goers were dazed and smiling like fools as blood ran down their necks but soon the other three would lick at the wound.  His eyes widened when he saw that they healed their cuts and sent the three walking back towards the party as if nothing happened, it was like some hypnosis or something,

"What in the world... I don't know what you're up to but if you're killing around here, I will-"

"You'll what?  How amusing you mortals are sometimes, let's not play the innocent sheep though, you too have blood on your hands. I can smell it," he leaned forward, rubbing his face against the other's throat while reaching to undo his collar and expose his flesh.

"Stop that!  Release me!"  He tried to fight then, kicking and grunting while the other just held him like a child,

"Hmm I love it when they struggle, makes the meal all the more delicious, tell me Radio Host... will this be a story worthy of telling your fans?"  Alastor froze as he felt the other's lips latch onto his throat, light suckling before a piercing pain entered his flesh, a short cry before something overcame him that was a first for him.  Pleasure, bliss engulfed Alastor to where his face became flushed red, a light moan leaving him as he became slack against the man feeding on his throat.  Pulling away to lick at the wound, a growl and moan came from the other as he held Alastor up almost in a daze and slowly started to dance with him,

"You taste delicious, the best I have had in ages!  Oh, Alastor, how you have sealed your fate this wonderous night," he groaned with his head being fuzzy as if he was drugged with something, he couldn't help but dance with the other while holding on for dear life.

"I don't understand... how is this..." such creatures were fables, not real, and yet there was only one explanation as to what these creatures were, the others started making their way over while seeing the flash of their fangs and claws coming for him.  Alastor went to hold onto the other, face buried against his chest as if asking for protection from these monsters,

"Now, now, this one is mine.  Do you hear me?  I claim this mortal for my own and if I catch any of you trying for him," they backed off then, rushing off to get more before the night ended, with it just being the two of them.  Alastor would look up at the other, eyes hazy as he tried to speak,

"Who are... you?"

"You may call me, Lucien, and from this night on you belong to me."  Darkness fell over him as Alastor lost consciousness after that.
