Jim was speeding down the road, causing Gemma's long brown hair to whip wildly behind her as the flapping of wings could be heard at their heels. It had finally started to rain and the brunette would have relished in the weather if not for the situation. She took a glance back at the stalkling before baring her fangs as the hybrid snarled threateningly at it but only for the beast to return the gesture.
The Trollhunter shouted between pants, "Why are you even chasing me?! I thought you only hunt your prey when they're alone?!", then a thought occurred to him as Jim muttered, "Unless, I'm not the only one you're after..."
Jim risked to look at Gemma to tell her what he knew but the stalkling took advantage of the teen's lost focus as she gave a powerful thrust of her wings and snatched the ravenette within its talons. The Dragon Folk gave a surprise yelp as she quickly grabbed the boy by his ankles as they were, both, lifted up into the air.

Toby rode his bike down the street with Aaarrrgghh running behind him. He looked at his phone, which was tracking Jim's, as he yelled out, "This way!"

All Gemma could see were clouds.
And she didn't like it one bit since her people were more on the aquatic side and dwelled in caves; hence the name Cave Dwellers. This situation would be more suited for the Aerials; if they didn't go extinct like the rest of the Dragon Folk. Gemma's bare feet dangled in the air as she struggled to keep her hold on Jim's ankles without using her claws but the rain was making it difficult to do so. The brunette was completely soaked to the bone; her white tank top and black sweat pants clung to her bodice and some brown strands of her hair stuck to the woman's face.
The Trollhunter attempted to get one of his arms free to reach his amulet but was unsuccessful. He looked down to lock eyes with the Dragon Folk and yelled out, "I can't reach my amulet!"
Gemma wracked her brain for any ideas but the only one she could think of would risk her falling to, most likely, her death. Seeing as there was no other choice, the hybrid gave the blue eyed teen a reassuring smile, to which he looked at her in confusion, as she took off the ravenette's shoe and threw it at the stalkling's head.
SKREE
Gemma felt her body become weightless as the hunter lost her grip on her prey as the two were free falling in the sky. The friends attempted to grab each other's hands and were mere centimeters apart when Jim was snatched back into the beast's hold. His eyes widened in horror as he watched Gemma's figure grow smaller as his one free arm was still reaching out towards her, shouting out "Gemma!"
GEMMA'S POV
What the fuck was I thinking?
I'm going to die if I don't think of a way to save my ass soon. My heart was pounding in my chest as the wind was whistling in my ears as I dared to look down to see a group of trees below me. Then, a stupid idea formed in my head...
This is something I've only seen in movies...
But before I could do anything, a bright light surrounded me as I was engulfed by excruciating pain and then...
Darkness.
AUTHOR'S POV
Gemma's form was falling limply to her doom until a small tornado encircled her as it cocooned the hybrid in a protective hold. It slowly descended towards the canopy of trees while the plants magically parted to make a large clearing. The natural disaster gently placed the unconscious woman onto the wet grass as it dissipated to reform a gigantic being shrouded in fog with glowing white eyes.
