Puffy POV
1st person
(The car ride to Karl's house)
"Are you are excited to see Karl again?" Lillian asked George as we we're driving to see Beth and Karl.
George rolled his eyes in response. I don't know why, but George didn't really like meeting new people, but from what I've heard about Karl, he seems like he'll be nice.
His mom said that Karl doesn't have any friends here, and that he has social anxiety, so he's not really good at talking to people.
We pull up and get out of our car, me and George following closely behind our parents, my mom goes and knocks on the door and seconds later a lady opens the door, I think that's Lillian.
Her and my stepmom give each other a big hug, Lillian then reaches her hand out to shake my dads hand, "you must be Dylan, it's so nice to meet you!" Lillian said in a sweet voice that sounded genuine. She then looked over to me with a huge smile, "And your Cara, right?" She said to me in a calm tone while shaking my hand. "Yep!"
We walked inside, Lillian directed her head to the stairs "Come down Karl! Their here!". A few seconds later I hear footsteps coming down the stairs.
I introduced myself to the boy, along with George while the parents were catching up. Then Lillian came over and gave Karl a huge hug, which made him look incredibly uncomfortable, which I found funny, but he didn't say anything and decided just to hug back.
Then Beth gave George a hug and started talking to him. After a little bit Beth sent us upstairs. We walked into Karl's room. It was silent for a good 5-10 minutes, then I saw a Minecraft poster on his wall, "You play Minecraft?" I asked him.
"Huh? Oh, Yeah!" He said putting down his phone. George's mood quickly changed once he heard that. Me and George are both big on Minecraft, so we talked about that for a while.
Karl POV
1st person
After my mom sent us upstairs it was quiet, since we didn't really know each other. Then puffy asked me about Minecraft, which is obviously my favorite game to play. George said that Minecraft is his favorite game to, and then he started talking about his friend Nick, he said that Nick plays Minecraft constantly but only plays with someone he met online, and that Nick and this person are like best friends, and that he refuses to play with him or any of their other friends.
Then George started going on about his friend named Clay and as he was talking Puffy looked over and me and mouthed the words 'George has a crush on Clay' which George saw and got annoyed at, which caused him to lightly punch her arm. After that Puffy talked about how she works part time at a bakery that belongs to her girlfriend's parents, I believe she said her girlfriends name was Minx.
After a while my mom called us down for dinner. The kids were pretty silent during dinner, it was mostly the parents talking. Before they left I got both of their numbers, George said he wanted to introduce me to his friends, especially Nick, for some reason he thinks we'll get along well.
After they left I put on pajamas and I went to bed.
