"No, you're a quirkless Deku, you can't be a hero!" A spiky-haired boy pointed his finger at his supposed-to-be childhood friend. "You're gonna be useless and weak!"

A childhood friend of a blonde-haired little boy emitted an agitated utter, gesturing his hand towards his friend, "B- But, Kacchan—!"

"Let's go, guys!" A boy identified Kacchan exclaimed to a group of boys, who were standing behind Kacchan and curiously looked over the troubled green-haired boy.

Tears began to gather around his emerald eyes as he watched his best friend departing with others on the other way, abandoning a little boy standing there.

"S- St- Stupid Kacchan!" The said Deku broke down, running away from them to the behind of a tree, hiding there by himself.

A young toddler, who was in his orange T-Shirt, dark blue cargo shorts, and a pair of red boots, had his arms wrapped around his legs tightly.

Hiccuping while weeping, despite leaning against the tree.

His fat and salty tears fell on his knees, whispering out to his childhood friend in anger. "You're an idiot, Kacchan...! You, idiot...!"

Izuku wasn't able to bear with his childhood friend voting him out as being a hero because he didn't develop a quirk at the age of four.

Izuku was made fun of for it!

But he wanted to be a hero just like Kacchan!

"Uuuu..." A young boy sobbed, releasing many warm tears from his emerald eyes, staining on his T-Shirt.

His forehead pressed against his knees firmly, sniffling back up his runny nose as he gawked at the dirt and some ants climbing up on the grass.

He rubbed his nose over with his wrist, staring more at ants, soothing his feelings gradually except for his hiccuping.

The memory of his childhood friend teasing him was to fade away.

As the boy deliberately began to daydream while looking at the sight, which he thought was fascinating, a line of ants scrutinizing around the dirt.

Midoriya's gaze followed every of it, watching them as if it was a race.

Until a shoe was in his sight, creating noise as it pressed on the grass.

A particular dark-haired lad looked up at the culprit with his enlarged green eyes, his lips slightly parting.

'Who's that...?' The question came to his mind as Izuku studied the person's appearance.

It was a girl with two ponytails, her E/C eyes fluttering at him in concern.

"Are you ok?" Asked a little girl, her temple wrinkling as Izuku instantly wiped his tears away with his hand.

"Ye- Yeah..." The boy stammered, hiding his surprising flustered face by looking away from her as his feet began to shuffle in humiliation.

It was his first time talking to a girl in his life!

And a girl was seeing him cry!

So embarrassing!

Ultimately, the said same boy's bottom lip clenched between his teeth after reminding himself of the reason why he hid behind the tree and cried solely. 'He said he didn't want to play with me anymore because I'm quirkless...'

The boy's lips frowned, his eyes soon became teary again. "My best friend said that I can't play with him because I'll never be a hero..."

His head dropped as he whispered loudly, fiddling with his fluff of clothes, "he- he said I'm too weak because I'm quirkless...!"

A H/C-haired girl with two ponytails raised one of her brows in question.

She didn't understand that. If he was his best friend, why would he say that?

"What kind of a loser says that to their best friend?" A girl asked with her genuine perplexed face.

"E- Eh?!" Midoriya let out an interjection in startle at her unexpected retort, his glossy eyes connected with her puzzled orbs.

"That's stupid." A girl shook her head with a disapproving expression.

"Um..." Izuku gazed at his fiddling hands in thought, reminiscing about a stranger's words.

"People like those are trash." A girl uttered out without hesitance, snapping a boy's daze out of it to leave him looking up at a girl, who was still standing.

His eyes twinkled stars in admiration at a girl whilst bright coral colors were buttered across his freckled cheeks.

The H/C-haired girl gaped at him as she stretched her small hand out to him. "Come on! Don't be the loser that others were talking about!"

A boy took her hand tenderly, letting her pull him up and getting a clearer view of her face.

Once a little boy glimpsed at a gal in front of him, a heat of shyness rushed into his face as his lips pinched nervously. "Th- Thank you..."

His grasp squeezed on a girl's hand as he got more bashful, getting excited that she might be his new friend.

Midoriya's gaze averted away from an unknown girl's form when she let him go, he eventually let go as well but got shyer.

A dark-haired boy's gape slowly laid back on a girl with two dainty ponytails, his fingers fidgeting, deciding to ask her something. "U- Um... hey..."

A H/C-haired girl craned her neck at him, looking at him with full attention as he felt overwhelmed by having her attention already. "What's... Wh- What's your na—"

"N/N! Where are you?" A feminine voice called out to her daughter, whom she was looking for.

"Coming!" A response was voiced by a girl as she departed from a guy that she helped out.

Deku gasped, reaching his hand to hold the girl's arm, "Wait—!" but to his setback, he didn't succeed, letting her fled.

"... Unh..." A mumble freed from Midoriya's lips as he watched the girl run up to her mother and walking away from the park.

The green mop-headed boy looked down at his hand that held the mysterious girl's hand. Feeling the hotness of embarrassment rushing into his freckled cheeks.

'I hope I'll see her soon again then I'll ask her to play with me!'

The boy stared down at his shuffling feet.

'Maybe we could become friends instead of playing with Kacchan...'
