Layla answered the door of her flat and smiled as she saw Charley

"hey" Charley said as she walked inside. Layla closed the door after her and smiled

"you look exhausted, are you okay" Charley asked as Layla sat down oh her couch and rested her head back and sighed

"I have been better, I am just sick of arguing with Tom. It's all of the time and it sucks and we only starting fighting over max" Layla said as she looked to her and smiled

"it's all down to max isn't it. I mean he started his stupid custody battle to a baby I did t even want and hear I am. It's just a mess. Look I know that you and Tom were good together and the last thing I want is for Tom and you to have anymore tension I mean you have polly to think about and it's hot fair on her, all of the fighting after all is it" Charley said as Layla sighed as she looked to polly as she sat on the floor on her iPad and eating her jam sandwiches and smiled

"she's my everything and Tom is her father and I have to make it work with her but I am just so exhausted of all the fighting" Layla said as Charley smiled

"you will make it work, I know you will" Charley said as Layla smiled hoping she was right

Layla got to toms as she dropped polly off. She looked as polly ran inside and smiled as she looked to Tom

"I thought we could talk" Tom asked as she looked to him and sighed

"I don't want anymore arguments Tomlinson I am too tired" Layla said as Tom nodded

"I don't want to argue. I swear I just want to try and make it work please" he said as he wake,d into the kitchen. Layla sighed to herself as she walked after him as he looked to her and smiled

"I know that it seems that we have been arguing for ages and it's not even our fight and what I want to say is I am sorry, you are the mother of my child Layla and we were so good together" he said as she smiled

"yeah we were" Layla said as he sighed

"look I want to do the right thing. I want to do it for pollys. She doesn't deserve us to be sitting around arguing it's not good for her" Tom said as layla looked to him and smiled

"I guess so. I mean your right I just want is to be okay. I mean we do owe it, we had a child and this isn't to do with us we should try and let Charley and max sort their own problems out" layla said as Tom looked to her and nodded

Layla sat on her classroom as she got to work. She looked to see Rachel and smiled

"hi mum, is everything okay" layla asked as she stood up and started to prepare for her next lesson as Rachel looked to her and smiled

"I heard you and Tom are trying to get on for pollys sake that's great news" Rachel said as Layla looked to her and smiled

"yeah I mean we owe it to her and she is finding it hard with our fighting and she is neatly four. She is not stupid" Layla said as Rachel looked to her and smiled

"I know love, I do get that but I know you and Tom and I know how you have been but if I was you I wouldn't let your guards down straight away and I wouldn't trust him completely as part of me is worried that you will get hurt" Rachel said as Layla looked to her and smiled

"it's okay, I can handle Tom but I appreciate it mum I do" Layla said as she walked over and hugged Rachel

Layla lay in bed breathless and looked to Tom as he rolled off of her and pulled out of her

"wow" Layla said as he looked to her and smirked

"I know" he said. Layla knew how they had spend the last hour having sex and she knew it felt great but knew that things were only going to become a lot more messy between them
