Verdict 22: The Insanity

Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.

The captain was right she was going insane.Only her prayer kept her sane but without it,the insanity would not just occur sometimes ,it would occur everyday,every hour,every minute,every second.

What she said and what she did was just one of her weakest moments.She was pious but sometimes her iman/faith deteriorated.

And the enemy was patiently waiting for her iman to be weakened. Satan was patiently waiting for her to embrace the solitude,the loneliness, and the hopelessness.

By the time she would embrace it all,Satan would join her.For just a short moment she lost herself in Satan's dictation but she never left her prayer and the people who loved her never failed to remind her.

She would raise her hand again admitting that she committed a sin for she may be pious but still a human.However being human couldn't be used as an excuse to commit sin again and again.

That's why it was called "sincere repentance".A strong promise that you would do what is ordained by Allah and with all your strength you would stay away from what was forbidden.

He didn't want to go, the madness that happened yesterday afternoon was still raw in his mind.Every word,every action,everything.

But he needed to go,officer Nico represented himself again but nay! He didn't accept it.

For some unknown reason he both wanted and unwanted to see her. But in the end he still found himself inside the crazy woman's room.

"I am going to review what officer Nico asked you yesterday"

Formality.He was formal in his dialog but he was still carrying his empty eyes.The woman across from him was also in silence, feeling embarrassed about what she did yesterday.

She wasn't listening and the man speaking as if he just memorized all the words.They were both emptied and numbed until Yerein decided to speak for her guilty heart.

"I am..." she started"I am sorry about last time" she said while bowing her head and holding the sleeves of her abaya as if she could get strength from doing it.She was embarrassed,how could she think of those crazy thoughts?

The captain stayed silent but felt vulnerable when he heard the voice of repentance.

"I know, what I said,what I did, were wrong" she thought he was silent because he was still angry but the moment she apologized the man forgave her automatically.

"Which part?" The devil captain decided to respond to end her unending agony.

"Huh?" She asked confused

"I said which part?" He wanted to ask on which part she was sorry for.On the part of which she became crazy or on the part of which she became unconsciously jealous

"Everything" her simple answer

"Everything?" Captain repeated in an interrogative way.

"I mean I did the crazy thing yesterday,I made a conclusion with my own basis"

For the captain it ended where it started.The woman already realized her mistakes and though it took all her pride to apologize and admit her insanity she still chose to do it.

"If you are apologizing for being crazy,then everyone must apologize too" the captain sometimes acted and talked like his captain grandpa

The stare of Yerein held many meanings.She didn't get what he wanted to say but she got what he wanted her to feel.

"You mean I should not feel sorry for acting insane"

"Yeah"

"Then if I don't apologize how would someone know that I regretted what I did? " she was an enigma.She asked like she lost the three chambers of her brain.

She was a smart woman and the captain knew it but when she was in front of him her brain was just a name and a decoration,it would not function.

But she didn't conclude it as love,for her it was just a moment of nervous breakdown.

"Princess you always make everything complicated" the captain said while giving his name that she openly hated but secretly liked.

"I told you to not call--"

"I will call you whatever name I want,now that we are settled let us continue to where we have left of"

"You forgive me?"

"I am just a creation of the Master of mercy who am I not to forgive?"

His intense gaze could make her drowned and fell hard but it was being matched by her rare, simple, and yet beautiful smile.

When he looked at the woman it was like he was doing a tour to her soul

When she smiled at the man it was like it was not just her lips that moved but also her heart

And they continued the interrogation with peace but they were oblivious that they were forgetting their piety

They forgot that they were not on this situation to feed their desire but lately they were drowned in the sea of infatuation and if they thought they were just the two of them in the interrogation room,they were wrong,there were four of them, him,her,shaitan, and Allah

While shaitan was very happy of their exchanging glances,Allah was aware of their true feelings for each other.

And even though they hid it,He knew,He knew the secrets hidden in those breasts.
