Let's Get Baking (Part 1)

Hey guys, I just wanted to say that none of the images or videos in this fanfiction belongs to me. Right, back to Adrienette!

The owner of the cat walked out of the shop, a brown paper bag in her hand. The cat leapt out of Marinette's arms to got to its owner obediently. Marinette stared longingly after it for a while, before turning back to me and beaming with happiness.

"That was so cute!" she squealed. I chuckled, smiling down at her. For a while we just stared into each other's eyes, until I looked away, blushing.

"Right!" She cleared her throat awkwardly, "Let's start baking!" She opened a drawer near the counter and took out some aprons. One with her signature white and pink polka dots and one with my signature three stripes.

I gaped at the apron. It looked like it was made for me! It was pitch black, with yellow, green and purple stripes running through the middle.

"Do you like it?"  Marinette asked, blushing profusely, "I made some for Alya and Nino too, just in case we ever wanted to bake. I think I got all the measurements right." My mouth was hanging open, I didn't know what to say!

Worried that I wasn't responding, Marinette begun to get flustered, "If you don't like you can just say-" I cut her off mid-sentence,

"Marinette, this is amazing! It's so thoughtful, and it looks perfect!" I gushed. Her cheeks flushed a slight pink and she beamed at me,

"I'm so glad that you like it, come on, let's see whether it fits!" She giggled, as she slipped it around my neck and tied a neat bow at my back. She then went along to check whether everything fit properly, no matter how much I insisted that it was fine.

"Okay, it's fine!" She declared after her inspection, I chuckled as she tucked her hair behind her ear, avoiding eye contact with me. She grabbed some flour from a cupboard above my head, I felt her warm breath tickle my neck and I almost shivered.

She grabbed some measuring cups, eggs and sugar, and laid them on the counter neatly. GRipping a large mixing bowl in her hands, she promptly poured all the ingredients into the bowl and stirred it up quickly.

"You want to add the chocolate chips?" She asked, smirking as my eyes immediately lit up. She laughed as I enthusiastically poured the entire contents of the bag into the bowl, sneaking a few into a mouth until she caught me and smacked my hand out of the way.

"Naughty Kitty!" She giggled, before turning bright red with embarrassment. I chuckled at her new nickname for me, "Kitty?" I asked, smiling cheekily.

"Well, I saw you with the cat back there so..." She trailed off before smirking and saying good-naturedly  "Okay, stop talking and stir!"

I obeyed, keeping my head down so she wouldn't see me blushing.
