The Photo

Marinette POV:

I opened my eyes slowly, peeking through my lashes. I looked around me, this isn't my bedroom. Suddenly everything came rushing back to me, I was at school! Oh no! I hope I'm not late for any lessons! I shook my head and patted my cheeks. I have to wake up I thought to myself.

That was when I noticed a large crowd surrounding me, I saw Alya grinning at me, I gave her a questioning look, she shook her head, smiling madly.

'Look behind you' she mouthed, pointing. I slowly turned around and froze immediately, paralyzed as I looked straight into two, gorgeous, emerald green eyes.

I immediately leapt backwards with a squeal, as Adrien chuckled and helped me up.

"I see that you were tired too," he said good-naturedly, smiling at me.

"Exhausted," I replied, laughing. We turned to see all of our friends, staring at us, open-mouthed. "What?" I asked, cautiously.

"Did you see yourselves just now?" Alya asked us slyly.

"No. We were asleep." Adrien said. Alya was grinning like the Cheshire cat, her smile going from ear to ear. She gestured for us to come forward and started going through her camera roll. She tapped on one of the pictures and zoomed in so that we could see. I grabbed her phone and stared at it, while Adrien peered over my shoulder.

I gasped when I saw it, I almost dropped the phone as I went red with embarrassment. Adrien was still looking at the picture, it was like he was in a trance, as I looked at him, I could swear that a small smile flickered across his face.

I blinked, my mouth slightly open. I was snapped out of my thoughts as a loud bell blasted around the school. Adrien sighed, looking away from the picture, "Time for class." he said sadly, I nodded slowly, I didn't know what else to do. He headed to the classroom, everyone else following him, I stayed behind, staring after him. Oh man. I am so crazy in love with that boy.
