I usually tend to see the best in people. Well, at least I try to; occasionally, as you might understand, I will accept that some humans do not deserve to exist.

☆☆HERE IS A SMALL FACT☆☆☆
You are going to die.

In all truthfulness, I am attempting to remain cheerful on this topic. Please trust me, I certainly can be cheerful. I can be amiable, agreeable — just don't expect me to be nice.

Nice has nothing to do with me.

I would introduce myself, but it's not all that necessary. You will eventually know me soon enough, depending on a diverse range of variables. It's not a stretch to say that at one point, I'll be standing over you, and then I'll have to take you away.

Though, when I do come to do my job, there are some humans I cannot bear to look at.

These are typically known as the survivors.

They have punctured hearts, they have beaten lungs, left in a jigsaw of surprise, despair and realization.

☆☆☆A SMALL THEORY☆☆☆
Humans are scared of the unknown, because what they are not aware of could be beyond what they are capable of.

Which in turn brings me to the subject I am going to tell you about; about a survivor — who is an expert at being left behind.

It's a small story, really.

And yes, I'm going to be talking about you.

Every now and then, I will drop a few comments; afterall, where there is suffering, you will often find myself. However, though it was coincidental, I find your story to be quite interesting, so I must tell it.

What an odd person you were.

Constantly looking up to the sky, to a place you would never reach. Always talking about things you could not do. Forever thinking about the impossible.

For some reason, the impossible absolutely fascinated you. Though, I suppose all humans are blessed with curiosity, but yours was still beyond the average person.

It's strange how you managed to do that in such a bleak environment.

Yet I suppose I'm dragging this out a little. I'll summarise the plot for you, so you no longer need to hear me ramble.

Put simply, it is the life of a dreamer, who lives in a world grounded firmly in reality.

And a dream of flight, far above the clouds.
