A/N: It's summer break, so I probably will have more time to update. The protagonist for this chapter is Whisper not Eliza. Which will be kind of hard to write.

Whisper couldn't believe what had happened. The day was going so smoothly, but then Eliza got knocked out and dragged away. He started pacing.

Stop pacing! We will find a way to get Eliza back, Nuts said. Whisper however did not stop pacing.

Yes. We will get her back. So which one of us has the better nose? Silvershine asked. That was a weird question to ask, but Silvershine was a weird pegasus.

Whisper snorted, None of us are dogs.

I am well aware that none of us are dogs! If we can track Eliza's scent, we might be able to get her back! Silvershine shouted. No need to act like a moody yearling!

A/N: A yearling is like the horse version of a teenager.

And you aren't? Whisper grumped.

Of course not. I am turning one hundred two next month, Silvershine snapped back.

Come on, you two! I thought we were supposed to be brainstorming ideas to rescue Eliza! Nuts scolded.

We are! Whisper and Silvershine replied at once.

No you're not, you're yelling at each other. I have some ideas. The stranger must have left something behind, right? So I was thinking that we could ask around to find out more about the stranger, Nuts said.

Yeah, but I'm a pegasus, you're a sparrow and Whisper's part whisp horse, Silvershine argued. We can't exactly stroll into the village and look around for something the stranger left behind.

Or we could just use what I found, Whisper smugly announced. Well, tried to. It sounded more like 'or we cuh jush yoush whah I fow. ' He had a scrap of paper in his mouth.

What does it say? Silvershine demanded.

I uh... don't know? Whisper wilted under the force of Silvershine's glare. I can't read, Eliza never taught me and it looks like a rune...

Well give it here. I can read and I know some runes, a very frustrated someone sighed. (Aka Silvershine.) Whisper willingly obliged. Silvershine read out loud, Take into forest. Base under waterfall. Boss will be there. She remarked, Well that was specific! Now we know where to go. Um... anybody know where the waterfall is?

Eliza may have shown me the route? Whisper nervously said.

I know the fastest route. Come on! Nuts interjected. She flew ahead and stopped when she noticed Whisper and Silvershine weren't following. You aren't coming? she asked with a frown on her face.

It's just that you're flying towards a cliff. Maybe I could take the route I know. You and Silvershine could take your route. Then, we could meet at the waterfall, Whisper suggested.

Sure, I could use some exercise for my wings anyways, Silvershine agreed. The two winged animals flew off.

Whisper galloped towards the deer path Eliza had pointed out to him. He soon slowed down because while the path was flat, to a whisp horse, it was ridiculously narrow. After all, deer were much narrower. The path really was beautiful. The sweet scent of blooming flowers drifted around him. Leaves above him created dappled green shadows. Whisper wished he could stay, but his best friend needed his help and his other friends, Silvershine and Nuts would surely tease him for taking so long. Up ahead, the winding path lead to a truly magnificent waterfall. The path then wound behind the great waterfall, which led to a teal colored lagoon, and onto glittering white sand. Nuts soon spotted him. She chirped a greeting, Hey! What took you so long? I found a cave, and this water is so nice! Come on in!

Wait! You found a cave? Whisper pricked his ears in interest.

Silvershine snorted, Yeah. We were waiting for you, Mr. Taking His Sweet Time Getting Here.

Well, WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?! COME ON LET'S GO! Whisper shouted.

We were waiting for you, Nuts pointed out saucily.

There's no point in arguing. Let's go, go, go! Whisper was prancing on his feet, eager to get to Eliza.

Okay, let's go, Silvershine pulled herself out of the teal lagoon ruffling her sleek feathered wings to dry them. Nuts followed suit. Together the two of them flew through a thin veil of water.

Whisper took much longer. He had no wings, so he had to circle around, and then make a flying leap into the veil of water. He landed on slippery wet stone. Whisper regained his balance to take a look around. Nuts and Silvershine were both resting in a corner. Both were definitely sporting irritated expressions, too. Now that Mr. Taking His Sweet Time Getting Here is FINALLY here, we can go look for Eliza! A voice that most likely came from Silvershine rang out.

Whisper let his eyes adjust to the darkness. Now he could see there were two caves. One had an opening barely big enough for Nuts to squeeze into. That cave could clearly be eliminated. That left the other cave. That one was was at least twice the size of the smaller cave. Why don't we search in the bigger cave? It seems more likely to have Eliza there, Whisper commented.

Silvershine rolled her eyes. Already figured that out, genius. So, we're gonna barge in and take Eliza, right?

Uh... pretty much.

The group stormed into the cave to find... nothing. It was totally empty! Looks of confusion worked it's way onto, not one, not two, but all three animals.

Then suddenly, someone cackled a evil witch cackle. The language was human, but the venom in the voice was plain.

That wasn't me, Silvershine declared.

Or me, Nuts whispered.

Whisper whimpered as matching thoughts came up in each of their minds, If it wasn't any of us, whose voice was it?

A/N: Hehe! Oh, how I love torturing readers! *evil witch cackle* Also, I HAVE 1055 WORDS!!!!

Remember to vote! The star's really sad because it's favorite character is in the cave.

Whisper: And the favorite character is ME.

Silvershine: Puh-lease. It's ME.

Nuts: Actually, you're both wrong, it's me.

Everyone: *gets into a full blown argument about who's the star's favorite character*
