A/N: Soooo, I am sorry that these chapters are taking longer and longer to write, but Chapter Seven was 1055 words!!! AHHHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT MY GOAL OF WRITING 1000 WORDS IN A CHAPTER WAS ACHEIVED!!!! BTW this is in Eliza's point of view, so I can leave you guys wondering what's gonna happen to Whisper, Nuts, and Silvershine.
Readers: JUST GET ON WITH THE STORY
me: Okay ;)
Cold, dark, damp were the words to describe wherever she was. Eliza felt like there were rats climbing over her. There were. Tentatively, she opened one eye, then the other. These rats weren't mean rats with slimy coats. In fact, they had soft, sleek coats and bright intelligent eyes!
Do you know where we are? Eliza asked the rats.
All the rats said as one, We can't tell you. Then they scampered away. Except for one. That lone rat that stayed had long soft creamy white fur swirled with a light peachy color and his eyes were little black orbs shining against the creamy white.
He said, My name is Mochi. My master has been getting away with far too much. I want to help you.
Master? Eliza wrinkled her nose in disgust. Well, I don't like that master of yours.
Mochi sighed. The exit is this way. Follow me. He darted into a rock tunnel.
Eliza quickly followed Mochi. He weaved his way through a twisted labyrinth of tunnels with Eliza on his tail. Finally, they burst through a wide cave mouth to see daylight. Daylight on the top of Mount Everest. Daylight on the top of the tallest mountain in the world. Daylight on a mountain so dangerous that climbing it without gear was practically a death wish. SERIOUSLY WORLD?!
A/N: Someone called Ripnami24 just left. I AM SO FREAKING MAD. Anyways, on with the story.
The air was so thin, it was a battle to take a single breath. Eliza looked around for Mochi, but he was long gone. Mochi betrayed her, she realized. That was why he kept avoiding the subject where we are! Eliza was practically seething with anger, smoke would have come out of her ears if it could. Crunch. The crunch of snow snapped her out of her irate thoughts. Two big men walked out of a cave. They were both carrying huge clubs.
Fear swamped anger. Eliza tried to flee the horrible situation. Her legs were frozen in place; she felt like a scared rabbit about to get eaten by wolves. The two thugs advanced with the certainness of a lion. Their pale faces were marred with scars and a ugly sneer. One thug said, "You die now." Then he swung his club and knocked her off her feet, causing her to plummet towards empty air.
A/N: This chapter is quite short, but I am getting so good at cliffhangers!!! One thing I noticed is that the beginning of my stories are all rather weak. It gets better as it goes along with more action scenes and scary cliffhangers.
Ooh... Another remember to vote comic! Yay!
Mochi: Master, I have done my job well, haven't I?
Master: No. You led that Whisperer to the WRONG place. You're executed.
Mochi: WAIT WHAT?!
Vote to say Mochi deserved this. Vote and comment Mochi!!!!! to say Mochi did not deserve this.
Remember to vote comics are kind of like behind the scenes snapshots. Hope ya like them!
Big shoutout to whoever voted on this! ( Basically just Maddy15Todd , me , littlegoblin66 )
