28 • Mermaid Plots

Guess who just watched Mermaid Tale and remembered their deep love of mermaids? Me! ^w^

1 • While taking a trip to the ocean for the first time, A finds they turn into a mermaid when entering the water. A journeys into the ocean, hoping to find more about themselves, and A runs across B, another mermaid

2 • A is a surfer, who is out practicing one day and the waves push them out much farther than usual, and they find a secluded cove, with B, a mermaid stranded in a tide pool.

3 • A is a marine biologist, out checking on coral (or there is the pirate option) when a terrible storm comes and crashes A's boat. A almost drowns but is found by B, a mermaid, and is saved by B

4 • A is secretly part mermaid, but they are unaware of that until they crash from a cruise ship into the ocean and can breathe. They are swimming around until B finds them, recognizing A as long lost Princess.

5 • On a walk along the beach A lives on, they one day spot B, a lovely mermaid curious about the human world. A and B become friends, and B expresses their wish to be human, and although that's not anything A can help with, they decide to try and sneak B to their home.

6. A is a siren and B is sailing, A successfully lures B to them with their song and wrecks A's ship. A is dragging B under and notices B's beauty and feels guilty, but doesn't let them go, A turns B into merfolk .

7. Pirate captures a mermaid, quite simple. It might be by accident or for money but the pirate is flirting with the mermaid.

So here's Jinx's tail and if the AU needs it her human form looks like usual. Her mermaid form has shoulder length bob hair because mermaids just rarely have hair that short.

This is my favorite mermaid She-Ra. My idea is she is human but the sword can make her a mermaid. But this all depends on the plot.
