The what???

Sans paused for a second.

"The what?"

Then he slapped himself. Literally. This person had broken into his house, with a knife, ready to kill him, AND HE WAS SURPRISED THEY WERE A KILLER! Geez, Sans, get a grip, he thought angrily to himself.

"Forget I said anything. I'm just an idiot."

Jane smiled to herself. It was nice seeing someone without AN EGO THE SIZE OF THE F*CKING MOON! (guess who she is thinking of)

She sighed, calming herself down.

"The reason I came here was to kill you, yes, but not for the reason you may think. You see, there is another killer who also wanted to kill you. We are always competing, and so, just to spite him, I wanted to kill you first."

Sans had to hold back a laugh. Yeah, his family didn't care about him, but at least there were killers out there competing to kill him! Well, at least he was wanted.

"Well, at least someone wants me." Sans said with a small smile.

Jane looked at him, curiously.

Sans sighed.

"I said that out loud, didn't I?"

Jane nodded slowly.

"Well, I don't want to trouble you with my problems." Sans said, carefully watching her reaction.

"No, it's fine, you can tell me what happened. Back at my house, I act as something like a therapist for everyone." Jane said.

Truthfully, she also wanted to hear what happened. Though she never showed it, she loved gossip and drama, but would never stick her nose in someone else's business without their permission.

"A-are you sure? I don't want to trouble you."

Jane smiled. She liked this skeleton. Not that she had ever met any other skeletons before.

"Go ahead, I'll be fine. You obviously need to get something off your chest."

-Time skip to after explanation because I am lazy as heck-

"So that is my story."

Jane had to refrain from shouting. Those monsters trusted a stranger over their own friend! She wanted to track them down and kill them all, but she stopped herself.

Quietly, she spoke.

"Do you know where they are now?"
