The next afternoon arrived and Nobody was allowed in the medical cabin.... Still

Nobody but Oliver and Hulu.

Thomas was still being tended to.

Denton sat out the door pretty much 20 hours of the 24 hour day. He sat there. Waiting.

Ezmeralda didn't sit outside the door however. She had been quiet and not only did it frustrate the campers, it frustrated Oliver who wanted her to talk about what happened.

Ezmeralda just sat next to the graves in silence, Nari joining her sometimes with blankets and trying to understand what Ezzy was thinking.

From her understanding, Ezzy was blocking the spot next to Charlotte in hopes it would prevent Thomas dying... or something like that.

Jay was hiding.

Adam had been quiet just like before.

Spot, Jean, and Virtual were trying to help out Nari with helping Ezmeralda and then also taking more supply shifts with Alistair, JJ, El, Alyssa and Ally.

Kira and Becca were on constant guard along with Kitty, Alec, and Lockheart.

Besides the Thomas incident, Everything was pretty normal...

Okay maybe not but...

"Ezzy?" Nari asked softly as she sat on the ground next to Ezmeralda. "Ez... Please... What's wrong?"

Ezmeralda looked up at Nari. "I don't want him to die... I- I haven't apologized..." She managed to say before looking away. "We've been friends for so long... He... He escorted me for my Quinceañera... and he... he was the one that called for help when I fell from the tree even after he told me several times I was going to hurt myself..."

Nari rubbed Ezmeralda's back, feeling the bandages and sighing. At least she was talking.

"I made a mistake and he's going to die and I won't be able to tell him I'm sorry-" Ezmeralda whimpered.

"He'll be fine, hun." Nari whispered.

"How do you know?"

Nari looked forward to the medical cabin. "Because he's not dead yet... It's been a couple days..."

Ezmeralda glanced over at the cabin as well and thought for a moment.

"Would you like to go for a supply hunt?"

"Oliver said I'm not allowed to."

"Well he won't know! I'll just tell Jean to say you aren't feeling well and are resting..."

Ezmeralda smiled slightly.

Oliver walked out of the cabin, avoiding where Denton sat.

"Oliver! How is he?" Denton asked quickly.

"He's still alive and that's all I'm going to say." Oliver sighed as he glanced over to the grave sight to see Ezmeralda wasn't there. Weird.

"Please! I just want to know if he's awake yet...." Denton cried out.

Oliver breathed in. "He's awake... but he doesn't want to see you."

Denton stood there, dumbfounded. "W-What!? Why?"

"He just doesn't want to see you right now." Oliver stated, "I'm sorry... go get some rest Denton."

Denton frowned and looked away.

Oliver glanced around again for Ezmeralda but she was nowhere in sight.
