"SOMEBODY SAID YOU
BUMPED YOUR HEAD AND
BLED THE FLOOR. JUMPED
INTO A PIT OF FLAMES, AND
BURNED TO COAL. DROWNED
INSIDE THE LAKE OUTSIDE,
AWAY YOU FLOW."

Being a natural-born genius with the weight of the world on your shoulders was an honor Gojo treasured and often took for granted. There had been no doubt in his mind he held the fate of humanity in the palm of his hand and could crush if he so wished. However, the curtains of the jujutsu world were casted over a long-running history telling tales of another birth that could prove to either be a blessing or a curse to the human race. What would happen when Gojo realized another prodigy, born on the opposite hemisphere, withheld enough power to tip the scale he already set his dead weight on?

The answers are 'love' and 'bedlam'.

Eons ago, in an untraceable year, a light dropped down from the sky to create every religion across the planet for ancient civilizations to pass onto future generations, and since each civilization saw the light differently compared to the rest of the world, it birthed a myriad of rules, systems, deities, and techniques from faith alone. Drowned in the darkness of the night, the Eastern hemisphere named the newfound divination system 'cursed energy', while the Western Hemisphere, drowned in overbearing sunlight, named it 'blessed energy'. Time has not been kind to religion, however, so the faith and the belief that there was a 'divine light' in the first place has been denounced as modern civilization began losing faith in the unseen. Today, what was once seen as 'divine' and 'tangible' has been twisted to appear 'childish' and 'ignorant', and diviners began losing their social status along with their credibility outside of religious communities.
