Thanking his lucky stars it was enough to get you out of it.

TW: mentioned violence, bullying and death~~~

A weak hit to your sternum was all he managed to throw your way but it was enough to bring you out of your uncontrollable state, as his bloodied figure slumped against the cold wall.

Not looking his way your knees gave out from under you gripping the tight shirt that felt constricting as your lungs heaved for oxygen finding that there was a lack of it currently

The room had been quiet only filled with your gasps and dying flames, shakily you stood up your body screaming at you to stop in it's over worked state, but you had to check on Shinso. Turning around you stood shell shocked the breathing you had gained back fleeting once again. Tears welled up in his eyes as his body looked so defeated no ounce of energy left to keep him up, his black and blue bruises standing so prominently on his paled skin covered in drying blood.

Without a thought you rushed over to him, scuffing your knees as you dropped down clutching onto his almost lifeless form like you had done it before. 'Please don't die on me, please no.' hiccupping you took another breath in 'I'm a villain that's all I am, they were right how could I ever think that I had a shot at being a Hero.' You thought not daring to utter the words inside your head.

Tears spilled over the edge as you hugged his body tighter. His head stirred a little and you backed away, his eyes began to flutter, and you continued moving backwards until your figure came into contact with the scorched wall on the other side of the asphyxiating room.

"Y/n?" his voice called and you shook in fear as the flashbacks were coming through your mind. His face slowly morphed into that of you grandmothers as the room around you turned into a traditional Japanese home. Staring back paralysed you slowly brought your shaking hands to your face wondering how you managed to stain them again. Forcing them down you took another look at the 'old woman.'

Breaking down in sobs you couldn't bare looking her in the eyes

(this is the start of a hallucination so in your head Shinso is your grandmother and the room is her old livingroom.)

"Why did you ever think training me to learn the quirk you were burdened with was a good idea?" you clenched your jaw trying to contain yourself.

"Not once did you retaliate against my attacks you just let it be, I was 11 you could've stopped them with ease." in your frazzled state pinning the pent up anger on someone was a nice release.

"You could've been there when I couldn't sleep at night because of what happened, you should've been there when they were screaming in my face to shut up while they all had fun talking amongst each other." "Children are such fucking bastards"

Tilting your head back staring at the ceiling sick of crying. "I can't count the amount of times I was beaten bloody because I killed you."

The mass of excuses you had told your family when you returned home late puffy eyed and bruises beginning to form were countless.

It was only 5 years ago that your Grandmother had noticed your interest in Heroes like everyone your age, and knowing of your quirk she decided to be your mentor.

It first started with simple things then she tried teaching you what her guide refused to even mention. Using the quirk for combat.

Music Manipulation: An emitter quirk, the user can play any song through the earphones permanently connected to them and manipulate the lyrics into the real world as they best see it. It involved memorising a lot of songs to be at the users dispense.
