My Journey - A Left Right Left Story

XVII

14th May,2006.

You would not believe the last 48 hours I had just had.

Flashback :

Toh, after the heart-to-heart with Aryan all I want it to do was curl up in my bed and reminisce the simpler. Par universe apparently essa nahi chaate the. Uss se pehle main Aalekh ko check karna chathi thi and that's when everything went to shit.  

I was going towards the party venue when I noticed Rajveer trying to help a puri tight Dr. Mishra to her room. Main jeez hi unki help karne ke liye badi, an orderly moved towards them and started a conversation with Rajveer while helping him with Ritu, going in the generally same yet different direction of her quarter's. Seriously this place is a maze.

And I obviously followed them and only got the tale end of their conversation. Rajveer too noticed me and was going to say something when we noticed B.C. and Major Nair walking towards us engrossed in a conversation. Rajveer and the orderly paled considerably. 

Toh waqi mai koi loccha hai. Ab sawal yeh uththa hai ki jo raita fail ne ko hai, mai usse khud failaun ya failne se rokun. Aur kyunki yeh Rajveer hai.... I pushed both of them behind the wall and clutched Dr. Mishra's arm as if  I was helping her, barely in time. BC and Major Nair stopped as they saw us.

BC (concerned) : Halt Cadet Singh. Yeh sab kya ho raha hai ? Why is Dr. Mishra drunk and where the hell is Captain Shekhawat ?

Naina : Sir wo Aryan ko routes ko leker thodi confusion thi toh Rajveer Sir ussey wohi samjhaane gaye hai. As for Dr. Mishra, well she couldn't handle the strong self. Isliye main inhe unke room tak chodne jaa rahi thi.

Nair : Yeh Aryan kaun hai aur yaahan kya kar raha hai?

Naina : Sir Aryan was my date for the evening.

Now if you would excuse me Sirs. I need to get ma'am to her room.

Thank you.

Saying I quickly moved away from there in the direction Rajveer was initially moving. After some time the other two also came.

Rajveer was about to say something when we heard hurried footsteps coming towards us. Rajveer and the orderly again hid themselves just as the person rounded the corner.

It was Dr. Shalini.

Shalini : Is everything alright ? Main abhi abhi Brigadier se mili aur unhone baataya...

Naina : Don't worry ma'am. Everything is under control.

Shalini : Are you sure.

Naina : Yes ma'am I'm sure. Main ma'am ko unke room mai drop karke aati hun.

Shalini : Let me help you.

Naina : Ma'am aap please relax kijiye. I've everything under control over here. Aap party main jaaiye iss se pehle wo dono waahan paunche aur saabko ulti duniya dikha de.

Shalini : Ok. Par agar...

Naina : ... kuch bhi hua toh main seedhe aapke pass aaungi.

Once Shalini left from there, Rajveer all but started to drag me from there leaving his partner behind to carry Dr. Mishra. He started to lead us through a secret passage to a secret room. He sent the other person to the next room. Once the door was shut he turned towards me.
