26th January, 2007.

I don't know how long it will take us to be settled with the changes that were made. Naveen aur Chaubey permanently wapas headquaters chale gaye, as they were needed more there than here. Naveen's drills and classes can easily be divided between Bhaisa and Gunny, while they retained their positions as temporary faculty of their respective subjects.

Rajveer's position had also been changed from temporary faculty to visiting faculty. He was to conduct classes during the first two weeks of every month and spent the rest in headquarters. He would also not be assigned any more mentees other than Yudi, who he would still be mentoring. With Mishra and Nair gone, and the triggers safe, there was no need for all of us to be in KMA. Instead their expertise could be used to track down the remaining network. While we ensure no further spies were planted in KMA.

The current crop of cadets were surprisingly normal. Ya fir sirf meri hi kismet mai namoone likhe hue they. Par we tried our best to help them adjust, hum unki ragging bhi nahi karna chahte the. Par we had to up keep traditions and instead made, it into an ice-breaker for them. Bicharon ko lagta hai ki yehi traditions hai, aur promise kar diye ki woh aapne juniors ko iss se behtar ice-breaker denge. Hum mai se kissi ne unhe correct bhi nahi kiya, none of us wanted the ragging traditions to continue. Plus it also presented the opportunity to leave our very own legacy behind. Yes, our batch was more than willing to let go of ragging to leave a better mark behind.

The new cadets were also dedicated. They had taken the responsibility of today's event well. There were no threats of a bomb blast, everything went well, and both Lolita ma'am and Doc. Shalini were asked to hoist the flag. Even the food was surprisingly better than expected. And then, finally came the main segment of the day, entertainment. The juniors had decided to play safe and have an antakshari competition. They had decided on 3 teams of faculty, second year cadets, and first year cadets. And again, no one expected the entire faculty (B.C. and Mogambo included), to participate in it. Oh their faces, poor dears had no idea what songs to sing on their turns. I wished Rajveer was here to see this. Pichle saal jabBut we all had fun at the end of the day.

14th February, 2007.

Well, while a lot had changed there was still one thing that hasn't changed. Bloody midnight meetings. Haan, ab jab Ananya CEO hai, aur hume sirf monthly reports Chote Papa ko deni hoti. Which were also just an outline of everything happening. This allowed me more time to focus on my training. Par fir bhi ab jab Rajveer yahaan hai ek meeting ka honazaroor hoti hai. Mainly to update each other, as he was on their progress with the leads Nair has given them. Uske saath-saath we also had to plan on how to move the red box from KMA without anyone noticing. Naveen had gotten close in finding out who Eagle is before he was framed. Par unke subsequent court marshall, fake death and then revival, had not provided with suitable timings to move it.

Par ab, ab hum uss redbox ko move kar sakte hai, uske contents ko study kar sakte hai. Uss mai jo links hai woh baqi links ke saath jod sakte hai. And wasn't it a surprise to find out ki humare pass leads and connections ki koi kami nahi hai. MGG had kept in touch with his original team, many of which did not want to give up on Eagle.

Their team, unit, and mission may have been scrapped, but that did nothing to curb their thirst for revenge. Eagle had killed their team members, had injured many more, had tortured a child of their unit. Nope, they weren't ready to let him go. Silently, they worked from the shadows, gathering whatever they could on Eagle. With their advancing ranks, they got more access to the people who supported him from within their ranks. Officers that were often posted at the borders, at the headquarters or near the politicians, with more money and bank account than they could justify were quickly identified.
