'Find someone who makes you realize three things. One: that home is not a place, but a feeling. Two, that time is not measured by a clock, but by moments. And three, heartbeats are not heard, they are felt and shared.'

I woke up to the ground shaking, and the heavy breaths of Five.

"Five." I whispered, shaking the boys arm.

He gave a little groan in response. I rolled my eyes. "Five get up!" I shouted.

"Shit! What the hell y/n!" He hissed, his hand covering his sore ear.

"C'mon! Luther is jumping on his bed again." I joked, climbing out of bed, after giving him a small peck on the cheek.

"Fuck you y/n!" He shouted after me.

"You wish" I replied with a devilish smile.

"Smartass." He continued, his face turning red.

I shrugged slightly and stood by the door waiting for him to hurry up.

"Cmon old man. What are you... 70?" I urged him out the room to see what Number 1 was really up to.

I pulled five towards the staircase, only to see Luther and Vanya.

"Aww five look. Luther is hugging Vanya. You see? That's called love and affection." I whispered to the boy next to me.

He quickly pulled me behind the wall. "Shh, she can't know we are here. Luther is in fact, not hugging Vanya." He spoke quietly.

"Wha- we have to help her then" I said in a soft whisper. He shook his head in reply. My eyebrows pulled together in confusion.

"Let's go." He pulled me back towards the bedroom.

As soon as we got inside he closed the door, searched for a bag and stood by the window.

"What's that for? no ones body will be able to fit in there." I joked, pointing to the big bag on his back.

He rolled his eyes and motioned towards the window.

"There are more efficient ways you know?"  I folded my arms over my chest.

"Yeah you're right." He said stepping forwards.

"Put me down asshole!" I slapped fives arm as he carried me bridal style towards the window.

"You're not gonna drop me are you?" I asked, surrendering to his idea, whilst hanging onto him even tighter. He gave a scoff.

"Not now." He started. "Not ever." I finished with a smile.

In a blink we were on the ground, looking up at the window that I was once hanging from.

"That's a big drop." I whispered to myself with a shiver.

"Lucky I have fast reflexes." Five replied before setting me down on my feet.

"What are we doi-" I started.

"Five where are you going?" I raced after the boy, who surprisingly is a very fast walker for such a small person.

"You'll see." He replied holding the door of 'his' van open for me to hop in.

He closed the door and before I could turn my head around he had started the car.

"Why don't we just blink there?" I looked over at the him, his face plastered with concentration.

"What's the point? We don't have time anymore, I might as well spend what's left of it with someone I care about." He shrugged.

"Well. Okay." I replied, a little shocked by what he said.

After about 5 minutes of silence he spoke up.

"If you never met me and this whole apocalypse crap never happened, where would you see yourself in 10 years?"

I gawked at him. "I'm serious y/n" he replied after glancing over to see my dumbfounded expression.

"To be honest... dead." I gave a shaky laugh.

His hand on the steering wheel tensed, the veins showing slightly.

He said nothing in response to my statement.

After 10 more minutes of silence we finally arrived at the mall.

He got out; bringing the bag with him, walked around the van and opened the door for me.

"Thanks." I whispered as I hopped out. Five grabbed my hand tightly and began walking towards the entrance.

We got inside and headed towards the middle of the small shop.

He let go of my hand and opened the bag that was on his back. Delores was sitting there, in the bag staring at me.

Huh? A body could fit in there.

"I'm going to miss you Delores, but I have to move on." Five spoke to the mannequin before placing it gently where she belonged.

he stared into Delores' eyes, then looked back at me.

Five grabbed my hand, and pulled me out towards the exit. "Excuse me miss." He stopped to talk to a lady that looked as though she could work here.

"Could you give that mannequin something new to wear, she likes sequins." He told her.

She looked at Delores, myself and then five. I gave a small smile, trying to convince her that we haven't gone nuts.

I pulled five away from the poor lady. "I know you mean well, but you can't say those kinda things to other people. It creeps them out." I told five with a little laugh.

"I know I'm sorry, it's just hard to let her go, after all these years." He sighed.

"So why did you? If it's so hard, keep her in your life." As much as I hated that doll, I could see how important she was to Five.

"There are more important people in my life right now." He shrugged.

"Yeah, Luther is kinda important, isn't he?" I stated sarcastically.

"Not him, dumbass." He looked at me and gave a sad smile.

I sighed again. "I didn't think you liked Evan that much, but if he's important to you, don't let me get in the way." I joked.

"Now you're just being an ass." He replied with a bigger smile. I laughed at his expression.

"How about we head home?" Five asked me, grabbing my hand again. I nodded my head in agreement.

He blinked us to the academy. To our home.

I opened my eyes expecting there to be the mansion, with the gates so low to the ground you wonder why they are even there in the first place.

I expected to see pogo through the curtains. Grace wiping down every already clean surface.

Instead I saw nothing. Nothing but smoke, nothing but fire, nothing but them. My family.

Five quickly let go of my hand and raced towards his siblings. "Guys." He looked around to see everyone's faces.

"This is it, the apocalypse is still on. The world ends today."
