~"You don't know what is good for our race!"

Dragnet hissed at Athena.

"I do. James does. That's why we got him out, to continue his work."

"This is insane. You are torturing Lycans!"

Athena shook her door rattling the bars. She knew that sound suddenly. This was the metal sound Oxen hated so much.

"Some must die to progress our race. It is the way of life."

Dragnet said waving his hands.

"Testing needs to be done and James is just the man to do it."

James smiled at Dragnet.

"I'm just glad you see the potential in my work."

Athena slumped to the ground gazing at the floor.

"I can't believe this..."

"It shouldn't be long now before my team wakes your Elder."

James said looking down at his watch.

"I've missed Wulfric. He is a great success."

Athena blocked them out, falling silent. She hurt so bad and it wasn't a bodily injury. All she could think about was Wolf's last words to her. He didn't have to apologize, he did nothing wrong.

"We'll put him as your Elder and study him at the same time."

Athena's heart broke thinking of him back in a cage again. He was so close to a normal life.

Hours seemed to pass and Athena grew tired and sore from sitting in such a small cage. How could Oxen have lived in here for a hundred years. She looked around seeing large scratch marks across the walls and floors, few splatters of old dried blood stained the walls. It was horrid.
She looked down at the floor and noticed something. Dusting off the ground she revealed a name on the floor.

"Sir!"

A man rushed in looking worried.

"Alpha Tay is here with about thirty Lycans. They are ripping apart our guards out front."

"Send the others out. Alpha Tay will pay for this."

Dragnet said growling.

"He's a poor excuse for an Alpha anyways."

Athena's breath caught in her throat. Alpha Tay had come? Did that mean Z had gotten free?

"Don't look happy Empath."

Dragnet tapped on her bars loudly.

"Your friend won't come here."

James had a wicked smile on his face as he spoke.

"I made sure of that."

+:Alright, we don't think about anything but saving Sky. Just focus on her scent and track her like we always do.:

I gave Wolf a pep talk as he bolted through the trees towards the lab. He was running hard, even I couldn't move this fast. Determined and strong, he let out a loud growl.

"We are going to rip Dragnet apart."

:Yes but first.:

"Save Stormy."

Wolf agreed.
We drew close and could hear Lycans fighting Lycans in the distance.

:Tay must have come through. How did you know?:
