As soon as he read and realized what is that book was all about, Lan Zhan regretted that he once took an interest on it for even a minute...

With reddened earlobes along with his slightly flushed face, He walked fast away from Wei Wuxian who was left speechless

Then he immediately went back inside his jingshi and made sure that the doors were locked incase of Wei Wuxian rushing over

On the other hand...

Wei Wuxian went back from his senses after, a few minutes have passed since Lan Zhan left. He could only muttered a word, "Huh?" to himself as a release of confusion

He actually wants to follow Lan Zhan but when he saw Lan Qi Ren who's approaching from afar, Wei Wuxian immediately picked up the book, turn around and runs towards their room

When he safely arrived inside, he wiped the book as what he planned to do so. Thoroughly, starting from the covers to each pages...

Wei Wuxian then exclaimed in delight as soon as he finished wiping it off, "You look clean now hahaha! Tomorrow, I'll give you to Lan Zhan. Don't worry, you'll be in a proper care..."

Jiang Cheng who heard him talking to a book, yelled at the fool, "Hey, it's late at night already! Go sleep now and stop talking to a book!"

After listening to Lan Qi Ren's discussions, Wei Wuxian immediately went out from their lanshi and looks for Lan Zhan...
  
   
When he woke up earlier this morning, he have no choice but to attend classes first and although he's with Lan Zhan the whole time, he doesn't have the privilege to chat about what happened last night

First, Lan Qi Ren arranged their seats the other day and he assigned Lan Zhan to seat infront, away from him, so talking to him from the back is hard enough and could put theirselves at risk...

Second, Lan Qi Ren might hear that he went out last night and will surely punish him. He was glad that he didn't spotted him last night so he doesn't want to do anything now that would arise the suspicions of him...
  
  
He saw Lan Zhan headed towards the library pavilion so he also went there. He smiled happily when he saw that only him is present there. He is sitting on the ground while writing scribbles on a paper placed on the small table infront him

Wei Wuxian, "Hey, Brother Lan!" said as he went to his direction. A hand with a book waving in the air

Lan Zhan looks up and glance at him for a second then fixated back his attention again at the paper. He is writing the half of their sect rules as a punishment from last night when Lan Qi Ren caught him still awake...

'A minutes have passed then he heard someone knocking on the door so he didn't dare to open it as he initially thought that it is probably Wei Wuxian and just wants to bother him again with his nonsense'

'Lan Zhan who haven't recovered fully from the embarassment he felt earlier. So he hissed in an almost like a shout, "You dare to follow me up to here? Indeed, Shameless!"'

'A seconds of silence then the knock on the door became louder. Along with this came a thunder like voice of Lan Qi Ren, "Lan Wangji? I was just checking up on you but i didn't thought that you could still be possibly awake by this hour! How dare you call me shameless?!"'

'After that, were a thump of footsteps until it couldn't be heard anymore...'

'For the second time of that night, his earlobes reacted first to the embarassment he felt but this time, with different reason'

'He stared at the door before he went back to lay down in his bed as he prepared himself to face him tomorrow...'
  
  
When Wei Wuxian saw that Lan Zhan is not paying him attention, he then sat across him. "Hey! Lan Zhan, yohoo! Im here! Hello?!" he waved his hands like an idiot infront of his face

Lan Zhan, "..."

Wei Wuxian, "Ok then, if you don't wanna talk, then i'll keep talking" he placed the book on the table beside Lan Zhan's paper "Look, it looks clean now! like a new one, right?"

Lan Zhan glanced at the book and he instantly remembered what happened last night. His earlobes were starting to turn red...

Wei Wuxian, "You can have it for you to read first. Then you can make a brief summary to me, i'll listen!"

A moment of silence occured before Lan Zhan spoke up without diverting his attention on him, "No need"

Wei Wuxian, "Huh? What do you mean 'no need'?"

Lan Zhan, "No need is no need."

Wei Wuxian, "Then, you are not interested anymore?"

"Mn"

"You really don't want to read it?"

"Mn"

"...That's sad... ok then, i'll just read it then i'll recount it to you after!" he declared with a big smile

Lan Zhan was taken aback, his earlobes already turned red. "...No need"

Upon hearing the same words, Wei Wuxian's smile faded. "Huh? Why 'no need' again? You also don't want me to?"

Wei Wuxian accepted his sudden change of mind already and just thought that perhaps, Lan Zhan have a reason why...

Lan Zhan felt the disappointment in his voice so he looked up to him. His shoulders dropped, his hands were gripping on the book and his eyes were looking at him, like a puppy pleading to his master...

He suddenly felt the urge to take back his words and just agree on whatever he says but...

When he thought of him listening to Wei Wuxian narrating an erotica scenes from the book, "Mn" is the only definite answer he could give

And there across him, is Wei Wuxian who just lost a face...
