I woke up to the sound of not-so-quiet bickering above my head

I woke up to the sound of not-so-quiet bickering above my head. Having heard plenty of their petty arguments, I already knew the best choice would be to let play it out.

I turned over in the bed and pulled the covers over my head as I shoved my face in one of their pillows. By the strong smell of lavender and jasmine, I could tell that the pillow belonged to Rickie.

I started to drift back to sleep when one of them started to run their fingertips up and down my back. The bickering had stopped so now it was only hushed whispers that could be heard in the room. I didn't care to listen to what they were saying. If they wanted me to know or tell me, they would tell me later when I fully wake up.

For now, I'm going to go back to sleep until it's at least noon. I don't have to look at the clock to know that it was way too early to be awake. Especially on the one day that I don't have to go to work.

The next time I woke up I could hear Rickie and Mickey's muffled voices in the bathroom. I tiredly threw the blanket off of my body and stumbled out of bed. I blindly made my way towards the bathroom. The two must have heard me as I was getting out of bed because the door opened before I could fully reach for it. The door opened wide to reveal Mickey leaning against the counter.

After he opened the door he reached out his hand and grabbed my own to pull me into his chest. After I was secure in his arms he closed the bathroom door behind me.

"Hey, darling. How'd you sleep?" Mickey asked as he gently stroked my cheek with his thumb.

"I slept well. 'm still tired though."

Mickey hummed in response then watched as I did my daily morning routine. Plus I had an extra set of my skincare products here since I'm always spending the night. When I was finished with everything I moved so that I was standing back in Mickey's arms.

I nuzzled my head into his chest. His chest was probably one of my favorite things about him. It was muscular but also super soft and squishy at the same time. I could definitely understand why Rickie was obsessed.

"What time do you want to go to the bakery, bunny?" Rickie asked as she stepped out of the shower. I didn't even realize that the shower was on, let alone that she was in there until she turned the water off.

"We can go after I get dressed. We can get breakfast there too."

The two agreed and we moved out of the bathroom and into the bedroom. Mickey answered his ringing phone as Rickie and I went into the closet to find something to wear. Thankfully it didn't take either of us too long. Mainly for the fact that Rickie always dresses in black and I already had my outfit planned out the day before.

Since it was a warmer day I decided to wear a pastel blue and white plaid overall skirt that flared out around my hips pair with a matching blue wool sweater. Rickie settled on wearing a black turtleneck tucked into black jeans.
