Y/N's POV

"Y/N!"

Looking up from my notes, Itsy comes to a pause and turns around in midair holding my phone. Hiding my notes, I turn to Itsy.

Y/N: What's up, Itsy?

Itsy: The movie is about to start! We should start heading there!

I turn down to look at my hidden notes then back up to my phone. I held my hand out and Itsy drops my phone onto my palm.

Y/N: I'm so close, Itsy! I can't just stop here...

I stop for a little while and texted both Alya and Nino that I would be "running late." The text sent and I look up to see Itsy wearing a concerned face.

Itsy: You've been at it for a little too long, Y/N. Since this morning! Don't you think you should take a break?

Y/N: (smiles)Thanks for considering my health, Itsy... but I'm so close! This close!

I held my fingers in an open pinch.

Itsy: Okay... I'll be in the living room with Wayzz and Master.

I nodded and pulled out the notes.

'I have almost everything for the base... but all I need is a tear of joy. Is it talking figuratively like drops of dancing ant honeydew? Or a literal tear of joy?'

I sighed and placed my hands down on the table.

'One way to find out...!'

Walking out of the room, I looked around and spotted Grandfather in the kitchen.

Y/N: Grandfather! Can you help me out for a sec?

Grandfather smiles and puts down his tea kettle.

Master Fu: (smiles)I assume this is for the power enhancement?

I nodded and lead the way.

Y/N: (shows notes)So it says here 'a tear of joy.' So I thought of two answers. One, a drop of dancing ant honeydew. Two, a literal tear of joy.

Stroking his beard, Grandfather studies my notes.

Master Fu: Have you tried a drop of dancing ant honeydew?

Y/N: (shakes head)I'm leaning towards a literal tear of joy... (turns to Master Fu)You laugh pretty easily! Why don't I tell you some jokes?

Master Fu: Go for it! I can have a few laughs out of my system.

Y/N: Okay... (thinks hard)Oh! Grandfather... why can't spiders become pilots? (pauses)It's because they only know how to tailspin.

Grandfather softly chuckles.

Y/N: Okay, okay! Where does a turtle go when it's raining? (pauses)A shell-ter!

Grandfather continues to chuckle.

'One or two should make him cry out of laughter...!'

Y/N: What color do kittens love the most? (pauses)Purr-ple.

Grandfather laughs out loud as I could see a tear coming out.

Y/N: Okay, last one! Why don't ladybugs play hide and seek? (pauses)They always get spotted!

Grandfather hysterically laughs as tears fall. Catching one, I quickly dropped it into the mixing bowl. As a result, the solution flashes brightly, producing a skyward blast.

Master Fu: I think you got it, Y/N!

Y/N: Itsy! C'mere for a second!

Hiding the notes, both Wayzz and Itsy enter the room. Holding a small spoonful of the potion, I motion Itsy over.
