Y/N's POV

"Y/N!"

"Y/N! Please hurry!"

I swing my bedroom door open and run towards the voices. I slid my feet across the wood floor and turned to the voice.

Y/N: (alert)Itsy! Wayzz! What's the matter?!

Wayzz and Itsy: (points at the TV)Look!

I stopped next to them and watched the TV.

'Oh no...'

Prime Queen: Welcome, to the subway of suspense! If it reaches seventy miles per hour, you can say goodbye to your precious little friend.

Y/N: Little friend?

Wayzz: She's talking about Chloe!

Itsy: Chloe's the "first guest!" We have to hurry before the subway crashes!

Y/N: Right! Itsy! Let's swing into action!

At the command, Itsy flies into my watch miraculous once again and transforms me into Arachnid. Immediately after, I jump out of the apartment window and web slinged my way to the station.

I pulled up my watch miraculous and pulled up the subway routes.

'By now... it's reached 45 or 50 miles per hour, then that means I should still make it to the next station in time. If I'm lucky... I can stop the subway and slow it down.'

Arachne: You're not planning to stop it by yourself, are you?

Y/N: I'll just have to see and wait.

Subway Station>>>

'I made it in time...'

I jumped down from the platform and waited for the arrival of the subway of suspense. I started to feel the adrenaline coursing through me. I jumped up and down and shook it out. I slowed my breathing and calmed myself.

I felt the tracks rattle under me, signaling the arrival of the subway. I heaved a heavy breath.

'Here goes nothing...'

Around the corner, I saw the subway. Before the subway runs me over, I jumped into the air and landed on the side of the train. I curled my fingers into a fist and punched the window.

Seth: That was one heck of a punch, kid!

George: You did give him that power... just reminding...

I climbed through the window and stared at the controls.

Y/N: Uhhh...

Prime Queen: Finally! The main star of tonight's show! Arachnid!

I turned to the screen and see her smirking face.

Y/N: Sorry... but I'm buffering...

I pulled on a lever, hoping to slow the subway.

Prime Queen: Oh, Arachnid! It's not that easy, you know!

I turned to the car behind me and see Ladybug and Chat Noir.

Y/N: Ladybug! Chat Noir! Take care of her while I take care of the subway!

Ladybug and Chat Noir: Right!

I looked back at the speedometer and see it gradually decreasing. I webbed the lever down and crawled out of the car. I looked around the tunnel and the subway for any solutions.

'Do I actually have to stop the subway myself?!'

Seth: Ooh! Jochigumo! Get the popcorn ready!

Anansi: (with a sinister laugh)This will be fun.

I crawled to the front of the subway and looked back at the speedometer.

'It's still going too fast...'

I turned away from the controls and looked down on my hands.

'Hey! If I stop the train myself, am I going to have broken bones?'

Arachnid: Hmmm... we'll just have to wait and see.

Y/N: Using my own words against me? Fine...

I brought my arms up in front of me and aimed at the tunnel walls ahead of me.

'Here goes nothing...'

Simultaneously, I shot multiple webs ahead of me and gripped on the webs.

'I made sure to reinforce the string so it wouldn't snap as easily... let's hope my bones don't snap!'

I started to feel the tug on the strings and I began to pull on them. I started to grunt as I continued to grip onto the strings. Miraculously, the subway stopped before anything happened to me.

Y/N: Finally...

I quickly let go of my webs and fall onto my knees.

'That was something... now... time to check on the bug and cat.'

I jumped back into the subway and pry the door open. I look up from the floor.

Chat Noir: Arachnid! That was amazing!

Y/N: Thanks... (to Ladybug)Where's Prime Queen?

Before Ladybug could say anything, the screens around the subway car lit up, displaying Prime Queen.

Prime Queen: Urgh... Arachnid! Look at what you did to my ratings! But! You pulled off an amazing stunt! Kudos to you! But... I still want my scoop!

Y/N: Scoop?

Prime Queen: (Ignores Y/N)My dear viewers, you are in for the reveal of a lifetime!

The screen switches to a different angle. It shows Prime Queen standing next to a sarcophagus. She then opens the sarcophagus and reveals a tied up Alya inside.

Alya: Ladybug, help me, please!

Seth: Heh! Reminds me of the old days!

Prime Queen: (closes sarcophagus)Oh wait, isn't this the girl who started the famous Ladyblog? The first one who ever filmed Ladybug?

Ladybug: Ah! No, Alya!

Prime Queen: Next trial, your Miraculous! Or else your biggest fan will be mummified!

Before the screens turn off, Prime Queen lets out a villainous laugh.

Y/N: Next trial? What happened when I was trying to stop the subway?

I watched as both Chat Noir and Ladybug have a staring contest.

'What the...'

Ladybug blinks and sighs.

Ladybug: (to herself)Why me...? (to Y/N)Prime Queen wanted "the scoop." As in "the scoop," she means our relationship. Specifically you and me.

Y/N: W -- What did you say?

Ladybug: (flustered)I said that we were in a relationship...

Y/N: Wha -- ?!

Ladybug: (frantic)I was just playing along! We have to lure her over her first or we'll never capture her akuma!

Y/N: And it'll buy us some time. Good thinking, Ladybug.

Suddenly, the big screen behind me lit up.

Y/N: Okay then. Chat Noir, make sure Chloe gets to her penthouse safely. Ladybug and I will get to Prime Queen before she dips.

Chat Noir nods and picks Chloe up. I force one of the subway doors open and watch as Chat Noir runs out of the subway station. I turn back to Ladybug who was waiting for me.
