she smiled nervously at her reflection in the mirror. today was the day she was going to tell daniel about her feelings and she could only hope he felt the same way, or else she would be crushed.
as she arrived at the why don't we house she placed a nervous smile on her face and knocked. the door was opened by corbyn with a smile.
"hey rose, what's up?"
"hi, is daniel here?" she asked.
"yea, he's in his room," corbyn replied.
"thank you."
she walked briskly to daniel's room which was the second door on the left and knocked. no one answered but she heard talking behind the door and figured he was talking with one of the boys.
so she opened the door and boy did she regret it.
daniel was on his bed and on his lap was a brown-haired girl locking lips with him.
as soon as he heard her gasp his head whipped to the side. "rose-"
"sorry for disturbing," she said, closing the door with a loud bang and running out.
