"rose, we need to talk," he stated, crossing his arms.

"hey danny boy, what's up?"

"funny, come on please sit down we need to talk," he said and she sighed knowing there was no way out of this one.

"so..."

"you love me?" he asked, quietly. he had been wanting to confirm to for the past week but he wanted to give her space.

"did you not hear me? I said in love," she grumbled.

a smile widened on his face.

"what are you smiling creepily?" she asked, warily.

"i love you, too,"

she felt like all the air was sucked from her lungs, "what? oh my god they were right. I'm so dumb. but wait, you have a girlfriend or did you guys break up?" she was muttering to herself now.confused at how she didnt see the signs.

"uhh soo funny story kaylee and i aren't really together. I was tryna make you jealous," he confessed.

"what the fuck??"

"i know it was dumb but I was kinda drunk and spilling my guts out to her at the bar and she came up with the idea but I think she just wanted to be with me."

"and why would you think that?"

"she kissed me, we went supposed to kiss."

"dumbass." she scoffed.

"im sorry it was really dumb I wasn't thinking," he apologized.

"clearly."

"you gonna forgive me?"

"we'll see."

"im gonna kiss you, now," he said.

"ok- HUH WHAT?"

"do you not want me to?" he asked.

"i do, i do!" she exclaimed, wide-eyed.

"ok so I'm gonna do it now," he said, smirking.

she closed her eyes, puckered her lips and waited while he stared at her and tried not to laugh. she peeked one eye open and frowned as soon as she saw him.

"that wasn't funny," she deadpanned.

"I beg to defer."

"i hate y-"

and then he was kissing her, his lips met hers and she felt sparks all over. it was even better than her dreams. his hands went up to caress her cheeks softly while her hands tangled themselves in his hair.

they were quite reluctant to pull away from each other and when they did he kept pressing soft little kisses on her lips and cheek.

"i love you," he grinned with flushed cheeks.

"love you more," she countered.

"loved you first," he smirked, knowing he had won.

"baby, I loved you first," she sang the one direction song, "also, its not a contest."

"you started it."

"shut up," she said, kissing him again.
