Chapter 26 - Change me
I opened my eyes slowly, the sun light was interrupting me sweet sleep. I let out a small yawn and saw that Jayden had fallen asleep right next to me. Even though he seemed mad at me last night he still managed to sleep soundly next to me. I took the covers off and felt the cold ground on my feet.
"Uhhh..." I moaned out. My head was still hurting a little but I have to brush that stupid feeling off like I always do. I got up and went directly to my bag. I picked out some really cute light blue shorts with a peach colored crop top, I grabbed the only pair of vans I had and some socks and quickly slipped my clothes on. I took a quick look at the mirror, and went directly to the glass door. I just need some fresh air and some alone time to think about all of this. I opened the door quietly to make sure Jayden didn't wake up and as soon as the cost was clear I was out of the door.
"Where should I go." I asked myself stupidly. I didn't know what was wrong but I didn't really have anything go say when I was with Jayden. It was just something in my head. The weather was absolutely beautiful. This is what made me happy. Walking around by myself so I can have to go think. By now I was out the the neighborhood and In the streets. Woah that stop light seems to familiar if I say so myself. I pointe at the intersection and laughed at myself. I didn't realize that there was some people in the car stopped right next to me and I heard them chuckle. I stopped pointing, my face got red and I started walking ahead.
"Maybe this place isn't that bad. It reminds me of where I used to live." I said to myself as I passed various stores and streets. Many new things to see in new cities i guess. I passed by a small street and decided to walk my down there because why not? I made my way down that street dragging me legs along. Even though the doctor said my leg healed quickly I could still feel a little pain in my thigh.
"Why do I have bad Luck?"
I thought as I kept walking. A little girl was playing outside her house. I looked over at her and smiled. She looked at me with a weird face. So I guess little kids don't like me..
"Miss! Miss!!" I felt a little hand grab onto my peach colored shirt. I stumbled back and turned around.
"Ahh, please don't pull on me.." I spat at her. She grabbed my shirt along with my hair and I was there kneeling down so I could avoid getting my hair pulled. She let go and grabbed onto my face.
"Miss! Your eye changed to blue!" She said with an astonishing voice. Her little eyes lit up.
"What? Little girl what are you talking about?"
"Your eye was green about a long time ago and now it's a blue color! It's blue. You really are a princess!" She hung around my neck whole jumping up and down. What is this girl even talking about and who is she!?
"Please let me go! I need to get somewhere..!" I said as I pried her off of me. She smiled at me and laughed.
"Are you going to go to your school?" She asked innocently while grabbing onto her purple t shirt.
"I? I don't go to school here?" I questioned her. I don't even live here....
"Yeah you do! I would always see walk down this street, and you haven't been to school in a long long time... That's not good because then you'll be working at Mc Donald's when you grow up.. That's what momma said. She said I need to go to school to get a good job, and I think you should to that too!" She kept on chattering about.
"I'm sorry but I have to go! Bye." I couldn't stand anymore of this. I turned around and continued walking down my path.
"Your a princess!" She yelled from afar. I don't know who she is but I think she got the wrong girl. I began kicking on a rock that was on the black gravel of cement.
