Sleep over

chapter 6

"Sleep over"

Her Mom stood leaning on the door looking at me from head to foot. I quickly took my hand away from kim's shoulder.

"good evening ma'am Im just here to take kim home. good night" i turned around realising that its still raining heavilly and awkwardly scratched the back of my neck.

"hey, its still raining, stay here for a bit and dry off."Her mom said.

i turned around and said" no its fine. Rea-.."

"I insist! and if you wont ill not allow you to date my daughter, haha" she said whilst cutting me off and planted an evil smirk on her face .

I had no choice so i went inside shaking ofcourse for two reasons 1.) it was really cold and 2.) I was now going to meet her family.

Kim went straight to her room to change and to get some fresh clothes for me too leaving me with her mom and dad sitting across me. They both gave me the 'idonttrusthimbuttrytobenice' look.I was utterly scared but i had to look confident, but not too confident though maybe they'll think im some goof who dont have the manners to respect them. So i just sat there giving out smiles once in a while.

" Mark come here !" kim shouted coming from her room. I stood up and asked her parents if i could go to her. Her mom just nodded. A sigh of relief came out of me when i was half up the stairs. Then i entered a room where the door has 'kim' engraved on it.

"yeah?" i asked as i came inside seing her all freshened up. She threw me a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt then said

"Go change in the bathroom dear" i sprinted to the bathroom and changed. I looked at myself at the overly large mirror and checked everything so i didnt look sobby infront of her parens, who i may say, really liked me note the sarcasm. I opened the door seing kim fixing her hair and drying it off. She looked amazing. She wore tight denim shorts and a black tank top which complimented her beautiful body. I ended up staring at her and she noticed. She just laughed and said " like what you see" she snarled and then came a cocky snark. I just laughed then added

" I always have and always will" I walked towards her and grabbed a hold of her waist. I was blown away by how beautiful she was. I stared at her and studied her thoroughly. She gave me a smile and made her greyish blue eyes look at mine. I was starstruck. I couldnt move. She placed her hands on my neck as i leaned forward. When my lips touched hers my body tingled. Our lips just moved as one. Passionately. But unfortunately we got interrupted by the sound of her mom.

"kim! mark! dinner time" Her mom said. As we parted i gave her a smile and she did the same. I gave her a quick kiss on the forehead. I enjoy doing that. I always thought that kissing a girl on her forehead was a sign of respect, i hoped she thought so too.

**Kim's POV**

"Just be yourself darling, they'll love you. Dont worry ok?" I said while grabbing his hand and gave him a smile. He gave one back but i could still sense that he was nervous. Cute. As we were about to sit down mark tightened his grip so i tried to sooth it by gently rubbing my thumb against the side of his hand. It looked liked it worked cause i could feel him relaxed a bit and gave a smile to my parents.

" we havent actually formally intoduced ourselves. Im katherine Miller kim's mother and this is Martin Miller my husband" mom said giving mark a grin.

" im Mark collins. Nice to finally meet both of you." Mark answered as he stood up and held out his hand to shake theirs.

We ate dinner awfully silently. Especially Mark. Mom tried to small talk but she gave up cause of the awkwardness. "You have a wonderfull daughter mrs.Miller" Mark started.

"We think so too Mark. So be carefull with her. If you hurt her ill be the one who will teach you a lesson." Mom snarled while giving out a grin. "The hard way" dad added having the same expression mom has. "i wont. I promise" Mark said in the calmest voice. But still he again showed nervousness. "Mom, Dad, stop scaring him! " i said playfully. We all bursted into laughter. We hadnt actually stop talking after that. Eventually mom and dad liked mark. They thought he was nice and have respect. When we finished eating our dinner,It was still pouring outside.

"oh wow! its still raining heavilly. Mark you should stay here for the night. You could sleep in Kim's room. Just dont do something bad ok?." Mom said winking at Mark. Mark just nodded. "Mom!" i whined. " stop embarrassing me!. " then we all broke into laughter.

Mark and I went to my room. I really didnt have a problem of having him sleep here. I actually was excited. I know weve only been a couple for a few days now but we are still really good friends before.

" So you tired yet kimmi?" Mark said sweetly.

" Not yet Mark. You?"

" nope, so what're we going to do?" i thought of some fun things to do. I came up with the best idea.

"Lets have a movie marathon!" i suggested enthusiasticly.

"sure! that'll be nice." I went to the livingroom to find some nice movies. I came back with a bunch of movies but we only picked 3. Taken 2, abducted and the orphan. We decided to start with the orphan. A little scared was an understatement of what im feeling right now. I was really afraid of the Orphan but i really wanted to watch a scary movie with Mark so i can cuddle with him more.

" Ready?" He asked

"yeah" he put the cd on the player and made his way to the bed and sat right beside me.

We cuddled as expected. The movie was utterly frightning . I couldnt stop squeezing my hand on his as i hid behind his back when it got to the scary parts. He would always try to sooth my fright by rubbing his fingers on the palm of my hand. It acually worked. I shreaked every once in a while . When he sensed that i really couldnt take it anymore he looked at me and asked if i wanted to change the movie. I nodded willingly. She got off the bed and changed the movie to abducted. We talked every once in a while. We still cuddled tightly though. His hand was on my waist and my head was leaned over his shoulder while my hand was on his stomach. I couldnt concentrate on the movie even though Taylor lautner was absolutely hot on it cause my heart was beating rapidly. I really enjoyed the position i was in. I glanced up the clock and saw that it was almost 12 am but we didnt care. When it was almost 2am we both dozed off still on the same position we had earlier. Which made this moment very memorable.

So i really thought this chapter was kinda i dont know. Haha ! i really wanted to put those three movies in there because they were on my fave. list and they had special meanings to me especially the movie ' The Orphan'.
