Chapter 7

"Stronger Together"

**Mark's POV**

I woke up to the constant vibration on my pocket. Mom was calling. I answered the call really quietly cause kimmi was sleeping next to me. As soon as i realised that i gave out a big grin. That thought made my heart skip a beat. So back to my mom. She was wondering why i hadnt come home. I simply told her that i was staying at kim's house cause it was raining heavilly tht night and her mom insisted. She believed me. She always knew about my feelings for kimmi. I never keep secrets from her. When i got off the phone kimmi started twitching abnd moving then her eyes opened.

" Goodmorning beautiful. Sorry did i wake you?" I couldnt stop looking at her. Even when she just woke up she still looks absolutely stunning.

"goodmorning love, what time is it?" she said while giving out a small yawn. I quickly checked my phone for the time.

" Kim its already 9 am. We need to go to school. We already missed 3 periods."

" huh? gosh. If thats the case, then no need to go cause we only have 1 period left Mark. We'll just go after lunch. "

"your probably right." i agreed.

" Kim i got to go ok? i need to freshen up. Ill pick you up at 12:30?" I said standing up. She rolled her eyes then nodded and me a smirk. Kimmi went downstairs with me. When we got there her mom was making breakfast.

"Goodmorning Mrs.Miller" i started." Im gonna freshen up at my house. but thank you for letting me stay here" She gave me a grin and said " Ok mark. And youre welcome dear." Then i headed for the door. I kissed kim's forehead and then left. My house was actually 1 block away so i just walked. When i reached my house mom was making breakfast. But something different was going on cause she looked devistated.

"Whats wrong mom?" i asked as i came to hug her.

"He's gone dear"

" Who's gone mom?"

then she handed me a letter from the U.S millitary. A tear ran across my cheeks when.i realised that my dad was a military soldier. I onlu read the last part saying theyre sorry and shit. I tore the letter and ran straight to my room. I went to take a shower and let the hot water run through me. It always made me calm. I came out of the bathroom fresh and calm but still absolutely broken. My dad is died. I checked my phone for the time and was shocked. it was almost 12:15 Ive been in the shower for 2hours. Wow!. I quickly changed but didnt care what I looked liked. I was just wearing a black tight jeans and a navy blue v-neck. I went downstairs to eat lunch with mom. We were awfully silent.

"Everythings going to be fine mom" I knew that for a fact. Cause even though dad had died we were still wealthy cause my mom owns a corporation which has branches worldwide. So there wont be any financial troubles. "I know dear. Im just gonna miss your dad thats all."

" me too" me and my dad were really close, you know, being an only child. He always spoiled me. Gave me cars and everything else i wanted. When it was my 16th birthday dad gave me PS3 ,PSP an iPhone 5 and an iPad 2. He even gave me a new car , a yellow Lamborghini Estoque. But enough about that. Dad was a great father and a great husband to my mom.

I have done eating lunch. I went to hug my mom and then proceeded to kimmi's house.

Her mom let me in then i went straight to her room.

**Kim's POV**

I heard someone coming up the stairs. Then i saw Mark come into my room. He looked very sad. didnt know why though. Then i came to him and placed my hands on his neck.

" whats wrong?" i asked while looking into his filled-with-hurt eyes. He suddenly hugged me tightly.

"Mark tell me. Please maybe i can help." I added. He hugged me even tighter. " i just found out that uhmm.."

"found out what?"

"That my father just died while on the war." he said teary eyed. I grabbed his face gently to make him look at me in the eye.

" Im sorry darling. I promise i will be here for you. I know he loved you very much. He will always be there with you in your heart. Forever. And so will i." i said then he started crying. It killed me seing him like this.

"Just let it all out honey. I be here and i wont ever leave. I love you. " i added while hugging him back tightly and kissing his sholder.

" i love you too dear." he replied.

" be strong, ill be here for you and so will your mom. Remember we are all stronger together." i said while giving him a quick kiss on the lips .
