In the heat of his rage he decided to go into the woods and shoot some arrows at the trees. He quickly went home and grabbed his bow and a full quiver of arrows. After a half hour he was at the edge of the woods, he stood there for a minute feeling the breeze through his hair and clothes. He shot at most a dozen arrows before he found himself deep almost at the heart of the wood near a small brooke. He had only three arrows left so he decided to not waste them since he was already calm enough to walk around and just enjoy the late summer scene. When he saw the bliss that the moment was, there weren't many trees so all the light was pouring in making the brook shine and sparkle. He laid down and felt the warm soft green grass against his skin. He felt the warm sun on him as he lay quietly listening to the stream of water that was the brook. After about fifteen minutes he sat up and looked around. He saw the bright yellows, purples and reds of the flowers. Then out from a bush behind him came a few rabbits, hopping their way to the flowers and water.

At the same time Neith was walking in the woods after being laughed at by some girls for what she was wearing. Which was some jean shorts, a black cotton shirt with her hair in a single french braid. Then at her book saying that no girl should be reading in summer. While walking, very upset she saw arrows in the trees and decided to follow them out of curiosity. After walking she saw the most beautiful and amazing thing. She saw Bain in the clearing by the brook. The sun hitting his tan skin made it look like he was glowing. While staring at him Neith noticed his bow and the few arrows he had left realizing he was the skilled hunter she was so curious about. Then she followed his gaze to the rabbits and it made her feel so happy to see someone else that loved nature as much as her. She went to leave but stepped on a twig, not wanting Bain to see her and thinking she was a weird stalker or something she ducked and hid behind a tree. She peered over her shoulder to see if he saw but when she looked he wasn't there.

Confused, she turned back around and jumped back when she saw a hand stretched toward her thinking she had gotten in the way of an animal or something. Then she realized it was Bain. "Sorry I didn't mean to startle you," he said with a slight upset expression. "Oh uh, no no worries I'm fine I just couldn't tell it was you" she said while getting up and brushing herself off. "Oh here" said Bain while picking up her book and handing it to her. Neith kindly took it back from him saying thank you. She was about to turn and leave when Bain asked if she wanted to stay and talk with him, "well by the brook of course, unless you want to stay behind this tree" he said. At this remark Neith turned pink from embarrassment "no we can talk at the clearing it's fine". They headed over to the clearing and sat down, neither of them wanting to talk first. After a couple minutes of silence Neith remembered she had something around here. If only she remembered....then she saw the big mossy rock. Without a word she got up and headed over to the rock. Bain watched her confused. A couple minutes of her pushing on the rock and viola. She got the rock just out of the way to reveal a hole with a basket inside. Bain came over and saw it, he looked at Neith astonished "cool how did you know about that" he asked. "Well I have basically grown up in these woods" she said "I have a couple secret getaway spots" and with that she smiled proudly. She then grabbed the basket bringing it to where they were just sitting with Bain following behind. She then opened it to reveal a quilt which she layed down and sat on. "That's good to have," said Bain happily sitting down.
