As soon as he left the woods he ran full speed back to his house and grabbed another bow and three quivers full of arrows. He had been gone for at least ten minutes, which meant Neith was engulfed in her thoughts, what if Bain liked her, all she could think of was the way he was sitting there when she found him. Meanwhile, Bain was racing to get back to Neith to show her the great surprise. He was running so fast that he didn't see a small rock in front of him and tripped, falling he placed his hands covering his head luckily he wasn't hurt. He got up and brushed himself off, looking around he realized he was lost. He looked around for what felt like eternity but couldn't find anything to show him where he was.
It had been quite some time since Bain had left Neith was starting to get sad thinking he really did leave and the promise meant nothing. 'But then why did he leave his bow and quiver? It means so much to him' she thought. Then she heard a shout in the distance, "Bain?" she shouted. "Neith, help I'm lost" Bain shouted back "where are you?" she said "Well gee I don't know lets see... I'm lost. Sorry Neith but I already want to rage at Lucia and her minions and I hit my head so it hurts" he shouted angrily " I'm sorry but can you help me". Neith didn't know what to do; she just wanted it all to stop; she just wanted all the sound to drown out. "Where the shadows cover the earth and the light is shout out, where the only thing that glows is the eyes with black slits watching you move waiting for you to come to them......:" sang Neith hoping to drown out the sound.
Confused by sudden singing echoing through the darkness he was in, Bain decided to follow the sweet voice with the strange melody. So many strange things have happened, he thought, still following the voice. After walking five minutes, he found the opening where Neith was....Singing?! "Neith what I- I didn't know you could sing!" he said seeing her lying on the blanket radiating beauty and grace. Neith turned around not knowing he could hear her and turned all shades of red. "Oh um..... What do you have there" she said pointing to the bow and quivers trying to change the subject quickly, "Surprise I thought you would like to learn how to do archery," he said happily, excited to teach Neith what he knows. "Really you'll teach me!" Neith said a giant grin spreading across her face, her eyes filled with enthusiasm, curiosity and love.
