The day after my high school graduation -
"So, how does it feel to be a high school graduate, baby?" Storm softly asks after arriving at my home after he's out of work.
Grinning up at him, I happily tell him; "Great! I'm glad to be done, so I can focus on getting a job through a trade school to provide for Rain and myself."
He smiles lovingly down at me as he strokes my cheek with his right thumb; "That's awesome, baby. So, I'm not trying to rush you, but do you have an answer for me about moving in with me?"
I've known my answer for a while now especially after talking with my family about it; "Yes, I have an answer."
He silently stares at me in apprehension for a few seconds as I smirk at him as I finally take pity upon him; "We'd love to move in with you, babe!"
Storm instantly grins at me while he cups my face in his warm hands as he tenderly smiles at me; "That's amazing, baby! You have no idea how happy you have made me!"
Giggling, I murmur against his lips once I've stood on my tiptoes; "I have an idea, love."
He presses his plump, soft lips against mine in a tender kiss. We pul apart a minute later, and he softly lies his forehead against mine with a lazy, happy smile.
"When would you and Rain like to move in with me?" he whispers as he gently grips my hips in his hands.
"Mmm, how about tomorrow? That way I can pack up our stuff tonight," I reply with my own lazy, happy smile.
His already twinkling eyes become even brighter; "Perfect! Let's start packing then!"
Loudly laughing at his eagerness, which I feel, too, I tell him; "Baby, I still have to get a few boxes to pack things in."
"I'll be right back then! I'm going to get some from the grocery store!" he swiftly kisses my lips before he's walking out of the front door.
Blinking rapidly at his retreating back while wondering what in the bloody hell just happened.
"I take Storm is excited about you and Rain moving in with him?" Gabe chuckles as he enters the house in front of Leah, who is carrying Rain.
Grinning at my siblings and daughter, I nod as I take my Rain into my arms; "Yeah. He's going to get a few boxes from his grandparents store, so I can start packing."
"Hi, my little wolf," I murmur to Rain before kissing her head. "Did you have fun with auntie Leah, and uncle Gabe?"
Gabe and Leah took Rain out for a walk, so I could talk to Rain.
"'Orm!" she whines, looking toward the door with a huge pout.
"Storm will be back, I promise," I assure her with a kiss on the temple.
She still pouts witha few teardrops glistening on her dark eyelashes. She decides to lie her check on my shoulder as she sucks on her left thumb.
Leah and Gabe smile at Rain fondly as Leah asks; "When are you guys moving in with Storm?"
"Tomorrow. That's why he left in a hurry to get boxes," I giggle while swaying Rain and I gently.
They both laugh as they walk into the kitchen for a snack since dinner won't be for another couple of hours. I take Rain upstairs, where I stop off at her room to change her dirty diaper, grab her a few toys before heading into my room. I start packing my clothes into several duffle bags once I've settled Rain on the floor with her toys. About ten minutes later, Storm breezes into the room with several boxes in his arms, that he leans against the wall with a huge, cheesey grin on his lips.
"Hi honey, I'm back!" he chuckles as he walks over to me.
"Hi baby, that was quick," I chuckle as I tilt my head back to accept the kiss he's offering.
"'Orm!" Rain demands from the carpet as she stands on her sock covered feet.
"Hello, my little Raindrop," he coos while picking her up with a grin, and a kiss to her forhead.
"How about we help papa pack, huh?" he asks her as he gently dances them around the room which makes her laugh loudly.
He places her on her feet again to put the boxes together before we get packing. Three hours later, we have everything in my room and Rain's packed away except for a few essential items. We left Rain and I each a set of jammies, a set of clothes for tomorrow morning, and diapers and wipes for Rain. We're going to take down her crib when we're ready to move it to Storm's home. He moved into his own home two months ago, and it's next door to his grandparents home.
"Alright, we are done," I grin up at my handsome boyfriend, who is holding Rain.
"Yup, and I am bringing several of these boxes to the house tonight when I leave later," he says with a soft smile.
"That's fine, but I will unpack everything tomorrow after we arrive," I seriously tell him, knowing he would unpack everything he takes if I don't tell him this.
"Sure, baby, whatever you want," he quickly agrees as he pulls me into the free side of his chest where Rain isn't.
Snuggling deeply into his side, I wrap my arm around his lean waist while I wrap my other arm around Rain.
"How about we give Miss Rraindrop her bath, and then we can get her to bed, huh?" Storm suggests, kissing me on the top of the head.
"That's a good idea," I agree, pulling back while holding my hands out to take her her as I ask him; "WIll you get her jammies ready, please?"
"Yup, I will have everything read in her room for when you're done, baby," he replies kissing both of us on the top of our heads. "I love you both."
"Thank you, and we love you, too," I reply with a grin as I walk Rain and I off to the bathroom.
