"Sammy, could you please take my truck, and pick up a few groceries from the store for me, please?" grandad asks me a week later.

Leah, Gabe, Rain and I have been at grandad and grandpa's house since this morning. We have been helping them do some yard work and work on their house. I have not seen Storm since last week at the grocery store, but I haven't been back to the store since then either. I haven't seen him around town either.

"Sure, grandad," I agree with a small smile. "What am I picking up?"

"Applesauce, enough pork chops for all six of us, milk, butter, and something for Rain to eat for dinner," he replies while pulling his wallet from his back pocket to hand me a hundred dollars.

He hands me his truck keys, too, and I hesitate as I look at Rain, who is being entertained and watched by Leah.

"We will care for her while you are gone," grandad tells me reassuringly.

Nodding slighlty at him, I give him a small smile as I quietly say; "Thanks, grandad."

Kissing rain on the top of her head while murmuring; "I love you, my Usdi Waya." (Little Wolf)

Smiling at my sister and daughter, I head to grandad's Dodge Ram truck, where I climb inside, and start the truck before driving toward the grocery store. I'm excited yet nervous to see Storm. I won't dishonor Lake by dating so soon after her death, but I can become the man's friend at least.

Parking the truck at the store, I turn the engine of the truck before climbing out. Shutting the door behind me, I inhale deeply, trying to settle the erupting butterflies in my tummy as I walk toward the entrance. Entering the building, I grab a shopping card to grab the needed items.

"Sammy, so nice to see you!" Mr. Brown warmly greets from behind the counter as he helps Noah Acorn, who is several years older than me.

"Hello Mr. Brown, hello Mr. Acorn," I reply with a smile at them. "It's nice to see you both."

Moving off toward the meat section, I grab two packages of pork chops before making my way towards the dairy section to grab the milk and butter. I then grab the applesause, several large jars of baby food jars for Rain, and veggie puffs for her. Making my way to the counter where I was expecting to find Mr. Brown since he was there when I came in, but much to my delight, Storm is there now. Breathing deeply as I approach while I smile broadly up at him.

"Hello Samuel," he warmly greet with a wide smile as he looks at my cart then with a frown. "Is Rain with her mom?"

Giving him a confused look as I reply; "Um, no, Rain is with my family. Rain's Agitisi died giving birth to her. I'm surprised your Agiduda and Agilisis didn't tell you this since they know." (Mother, Grandmother, Grandfather)

Storms face immeditly morphs from confusion to horror as he quickly says; "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to bring up a sensitive subject!"

"You didn't know, so don't worry about it," I mumble as I glance down at the counter with a flim of tears in my eyes.

"I'm still sorry," he softly replies as he bags and rings up the food for me - his voice is softer than I have heard from him before.

"Sammy, are you alright, love?" Mrs. Brown's gentle voice startles me from my left side.

Bringing my face upwards toward her toward her to say; "I'm fine, Mrs. Brown. Thank you."

She silently searches my face before nodding reluctantly; "Is Rain with Samuel and Elliot?"

Nodding as I say; "Yeah, along with Leah and Gabriel."

"How can she be with Samuel when he's right here?" Storm asked confused.

Giggling at this I tell him; "I'm named after my grandpa Samuel."

Storm tilts his head to the right as he places the last item in the bag; "Is Elliot your grandma?"

Smirking at him while saying; "No, Elliot is my grandad. My Agidoda has two Agidoda's." (Father, Grandfather's)

His jaw drops slightly before saying; "That's so cool!"

"Yup," I agree with a nod handing him eighty dollars for the groceries with a nod.

"Hey Samuel," Storms calls out after me as I'm walking away with the two bags in my arms.

Turning around silently with a raised left eyebrow, and Storm continues; "Can we hangout tonight?"

"Sure, but Rain will be with me, so we can't hangut too late," I reply with a soft smile.

Storm instantly smiles, all tension leaving his body; "I figured on both already. Where can I pick you up from at 5 p.m.?"

"Um," I reply, looking around the counter for a pen and paper.

Upon finding both, I walk back over to the counter, I place the bags on the counter, so I can write down Agiduda's home address with a smile. Sliding the paper toward Storm as I say; "This is my Agiduda's home address where Rain and I will be. You will have to meet my family offically before Rain and I will be allowed to hangout with you alone."

"That's understandable," Storm agrees with a broad smile that crinkles the skin at the corners of his eyes; "I'll be there at five to pick you two up, and speak with your family."

"See you then," I reply with a bright smile before taking the bags again, and leave the store.

Returning back to the house, grandad asks why I took so long, and I explain that Storm was picking Rain and I up to hangout tonight. I also told him that he was picking us up from their home, so everyone could offically meet Storm.

By the smirks grandad and grandpa are giving me, I know I'm in for some embarressment from them. If I know my dad, he will possibly do something to embarress me, too, but my only hope is that my siblings don't help the three men embarress me in front of Storm. I know my daughter won't because she's an angel.
