You get out the lake and look back at her shes floating away happily you smile to yourself she really is something else. You run to the bathroom quickly and then grab you and her a bottle of water each then you head back out you get distracted by Sam and Bucky who are arguing about who would win in a fight iron man or Ant-man you laugh as Tony gets really angry and its obvious Tony would win.. well thats what you think anyway after a ridiculous argument breaks out between Bucky and Sam you give up and run down to the lake you look around and spot the rubber ring floating you look once more around the lake and then back at the cabin

hey you guys where is Mya? did she get out already? you ask Steve and Nat as they come strolling down to you they shake their heads and then you get that feeling all the hairs on your body stand on end somethings wrong you say you begin shouting her and Nat and Steve do the same.

You look in the water and you shake your head you dive in going under you head for the rubber ring and then keep diving in then coming up for air then going back under you cant see her but you know shes here you can feel it in your bones

help me shes in here! you shout everyone begins jumping in the water and searching. Shouting and screaming her name thats when you feel it skin against skin you dive under and spot her you look at her ankle and its caught on something you swim down to her and pull at the string it breaks you drag her up the surface your holding her tight and blood drips down your arm you shout and swim as fast as you can to the shore shes not breathing you already know you feel panic set in as you pass her up to Wanda you dive up after her and begin CPR you look at the others wide eyed and scared

shes not breathing shes not breathing you press on her chest repeatedly you feel tears streaming down your face COME ON MYA!! you scream please dont leave me you think, everyone is crowded round trying to help but nothing is working Steve takes over and your sit shaking praying

You hold her hand she feels so cold, how did this happen how did we let this happen we were meant to be watching her.

we were meant to watch her.. we were all meant to be watching her and we let her down were the reason you begin saying your thoughts out loud and everyone is looking at you. its our fault you say Steve looks at you then back to Mya

You look down at her hand and thats when you see it

wheres the stone? you pull her arm up and then get up and look to the other arm the bracelet its gone you say looking around you see everyone take a step forward to see as well Steve is still trying with all his might but nothing is happening. You feel your whole body go numb you dont know how to feel.. youve done this once already but there was hope the first time.. this time all you feel is a dark hole growing in your chest.

Steve.. I think you should stop Nat says to Steve as she cries

no I wont.. I cant lose her not now, not after.. no you see the minute he gives up and you see in his eyes the minute his heart completely breaks

what is that? Loki says as he points to Mya you look closely and you see it too. Smoke rising from her body you stare and the you feel a burning you quickly let go of Myas hands and then all of a sudden her whole body erupts into flames you scream out and lunge forward wanting to protect her but arms hold you back you see Steve have a similar reaction but both Bucky and Nat are holding him you turn and sob into Whoever is holding you. You dont understand. You cling and look up and see Tony looking down at you

shes really gone.. you say through tears

Then you hear screaming.. you spin around and see Mya shes staring up at the sky screaming flames surround her you let go of Tony and take a step forward she looks at you as flames engulf her

what is happening! she screams

Breathe Mya! you shout at her she makes eye contact with you I thought I lost you... she really looks at you now and you see as the flames slowly fade away.. you dont wait your run straight to her and wrap your arms around her and you kiss her, you kiss her like no-one else is there you pull away and rest your forehead against hers

youve got to stop doing this I dont know how many times I can watch you die Mya Rogers your killing me here you kiss her nose again

ahem you both pull apart and you see Steve stood there Mya he says you see the look in his eyes and you move so he can hold her too.. and as she hugs everyone you stand there absolutely in awe of the girl who never dies..

**Mya pov**

As you hug everyone your overcome with emotions you look down at your wrist

I dont understand what happened you say looking around the group

may I take the lead on this one Loki says as he looks around no one objects so he begins as I said before, there was an internal battle inside you the serum was using the stone to mess with your head it wanted release, it wanted to be free and the only way to do that was to get you to end your life the bracelet only stays on if your alive and you just died so.. the bracelet became void. Quite simple really

because the serum is still running through your veins really Mya do I have to spell it out for you? I thought you were much cleverer then that

You roll your eyes at Loki so Im going to be ok now?

well I dont know about that your still you Loki smirks and you smack him you should be quite fine now you will have the abilities the serum gave you but Im sure youll be fine with that

You look around at The Team its really over? I can be me again
