I spent the rest of the day minding the hostages which was very boring and I was tired. It was also getting hotter in the building and it was starting to annoy me.

It was already dark outside as I was in the main office and putting the jumpsuits arms around my waist again.

Just as I was starting to relax, I heard an explosion.

I got up straight away, very concerned as when we got here, Helsinki put explosives on each entrance to the building. I didn't know whether this was police invading, or hostages escaping.

I started to load my gun ready and I could heard yelling from outside already. Denver and Berlin burst into the room panting.

"Hostages, they're escaping." Denver told me. I put my gun over my shoulder and we all walked down there. We could already see smoke and we all forgot our masks.

I was walking in front angrily with the other two doing the same behind me.

Helsinki and Moscow tried to put the metal that had exploded off leaving a massive hole where some hostages had escaped back up but it was very stressful.

The police guarding that entrance had already opened fire and they couldn't hold it up anymore.

We walked past the corner just as they started shooting and Berlin held my head down and we both slid to the floor trying to protect ourselves. I thought everyone else did too.

I saw Helsinki get hit by bullets in the stomach and get taken down to the floor by them but I quickly saw he had a bulletproof vest on so I knew he was ok. Nairobi still went to check on him though.

"Now!" I shouted. We all either stood up or moved towards the hole in the wall and started to shoot out there. The police took cover behind bags of sand they had set up and I could already see they were sending more police here.

We were forced to take cover again as the police gained control and started to shoot at us.

There were lights shining everywhere in here from police guns and I leaned back against the wall with the gun to my side and panting.

I looked slightly to see police with shields covering them moving towards the hole. I don't know why but in that moment, I had an idea.

"Cover me!" I screamed. They all did and I started to run back to where I knew the machine gun was.

"What are you doing?" Berlin shouted after me. I didn't respond.

I found it around the corner and started to push it with all my strength back to where I was. The police swiftly noticed the machine gun and ran behind the sand bags for cover.

I started to shoot. All my anger was taken out in that moment. I felt really powerful and I didn't want it to end, eventually though, all the bullets ran out and there was this silence where no one really knew what to do.

"Seal it!" Berlin told us.

We finally got the metal back up and started drilling it as quick as possible. The nightmare was finally over, well most of it.

Berlin checked to see if I was ok, which I actually was.

"Wheres Oslo?" Helsinki panicked.

We all ran out to the corridor and then we're stopped.

Blood covered the entire floor. He was laying there, not moving. There was also glass smashed everywhere for some reason which made me step back nervously.

Helsinki ran over and I couldn't get any closer. Berlin went to check for a pulse, but it was quite clear that he was dead. The hostages must have hit in in the back of the head when the escaped.

I started to cry and so did most of us.

"No, no, no." Helsinki struggled, trying his hardest to find a pulse on him.

I leaned against the wall and wiping the tears off my cheeks. Nairobi looked at me, completely saddened.

10 minutes later:

I had to leave there after a while. My shaking had gotten really bad and I struggled to breathe.

Feeling this way made me want to harm myself so bad. I was so close to but then the phone rang and I had to answer it.

"Where the fuck where you?" I asked angrily.

"I was, out." He stuttered.

"Out? Did you not consider the risks it would've left us here?" I questioned.

"I'm sorry, how many escaped?" He asked.

"16." I replied. He sighed. "There's something you should know. Oslo's dead."

He went silent.

"The cost of you being 'out' was us loosing one of our most capable people on our team. You promised to protect them."

He was still silent. I had enough and put the phone down.

The urge had gotten too strong at that point. I got a blade I found when we came here and went to the upstairs bathroom.

Denver POV:

It had been an hour since Oslo died and none of us had seen Helsinki since. We all knew to give him the space he needed to be with Oslo.

I found a bottle of alcohol that Jennie had attempted to hide but it was in an obvious place so I got it. I was drinking it an walking up the stairs to the toilet as I needed to use it.

I opened the door casually and turned on the lights and then my heart sunk deep.

Jennie was laying with her back to one of the cubicle doors, in a pool of her own blood. Her wrists, they were slit. I could tell she was still alive, but bearly.

I ran there and held onto her. She started to cry weakly and so did I.

"Someone help!" I screamed.

The first thing I thought of doing was using my shirt as a protection to stop the blood from coming out.

As I was doing it, no one heard me screaming. They were all the way downstairs and I knew what I had to do.

Berlin POV:

I walked out of the main office to see Denver run down the stairs, covered in blood and topless. I was very concerned at that point.

"It's Jennie." He panted.

That was the quickest I had ever ran. He told me she was in the bathroom and I did not hesitate to get there as quick as I could.

I opened the door and gasped. The pool of blood beneath her, a tshirt wrapped around one of her wrists.

I could hear Denver shouting on the phone to the professor and asking him what to do.

Jennie POV:

I didn't mean this to happen. The shaking had made me go too deep and I collapsed, bleeding out onto the floor.

I couldn't even lift my head up properly, it was leaned against one of the cubical doors and my eyes were closed. I somehow still managed to cry though.

After Denver had ran down the stairs, I heard the door open and Berlin sprint towards me with everyone behind him.

He grabbed my head and leaned it against his chest with my back facing towards him. He continued to hold my head up and stop me from falling asleep but I kept loosing consciousness.

I think Nairobi got a first aid kit from downstairs as I could feel bandages get wrapped around my wrists. It hurt really bad.

I managed to open my eyes slightly and look up at Berlin.

"It was an accident. I went too deep." I cried weakly. He sniffled. I fell out of consciousness again.
