So I had an idea and decided to keep going with the trans Nico AU for this

Will is working in the infirmary when he sees Nico come in, his breathing shallow.

"Nico what happened?!" He yells, running to his injured baby.

"P-papa I was bad," Nico says quietly.

"Gods did you try to train while little again?" Will asks, concern in his voice.

"Nu... I wore my binder too long wif nu breaks," Nico admits. "Chu mad?" Nico asks, tears forming in his eyes.

"No angel, I'm just worried," Will says, helping Nico to one of the beds.

"Papa it hurts," Nico said, tears streaming down his face.

"I know it does sunshine, but it'll be better soon," Will says, taking out some nectar. "Drink this," he says, holding it up to Nico's lips.

~That night~

Nico is laying in bed with his paci and stuffy. Even though he drank nectar, Will told him he needed to rest.

"Angel, you need to stop doing that," Will says.

"Otay Papa I only wear it 8 hours 'morrow," Nico agrees, not wanting to feel that much pain again.

"Oh, no sweetheart. You're not going to be able to wear it for a bit," Will informs Nico, who's face drops. "You need to let your ribs completely heal."

"Hmphhh," Nico pouts.

"I know but I can't have my precious baby boy getting hurt again," Will says, scooping his baby up in his arms. "And remember what we've talked about. If you bind unsafely you're going to mess up your chances of getting top surgery," Will reminds him.

"Me knows, Papa," Nico says, snuggling into his caregiver's arms.
